I forgot I have to be active here so here’s my Twitter tutorial on how to draw folds I made a while back to help a friend!

a lot of people’s “art styles” are made up of yes, many conscious decisions, but also quirks that they might not think about or even be aware of. I think that’s why I see some artists lamenting “oh my art style is so inconsistent 😖” and then post 4 pictures that are all very clearly by the same person, even if those pictures range from realism to cartoons.

It reminds me of that chapter in the wayside school books where the teacher brought in ice cream flavors that were somehow flavored what each classmate tastes when they taste nothing at all. So to them the ice cream had no taste, but all the other students thought it was delicious (for some reason. It was a weird chapter).
