I tend to avoid adventuring and following XIV twitters that I don’t know ingame or as friends on discord, and so I avoid a lot of the XIV drama. But I also follow the art twitter a fair bit…

In the XIV tumblr community, a dumpster fire is just that, a fire in a dumpster. On twatter, the dumpster fire literally transcends the dumpster and burns the whole fucking city and even if you’re not involved, you’re somehow involved. 

Its wild. Somehow a twitter that tweets about fucking Panda awareness got roped into the Nessa white washing drama on there.

So I kinda, have to break the bit of laughs to Share something very personal that is going on in my life right now

This has been one of the rare moments in my life where i’ve felt absolutely powerless. And the decision on what to do has weighed heavily on me. Everyone who knows me, knows my dogs and cats are like my children. My family, because they’ve all I’ve ever had.

And the fact, Taiga has to go through this and the chance I might not be able to save her cuts me harder than I hate to admit. I know the upset and pain I feel in my heart right now probably has nothing on what she is going through right now. And I absolutely hate that I can’t wave my hand and fix it for her.

I know, things are hard for everyone but if you could share or anything I’d be very grateful. I absolutely hate it’s come to this, but I love her too much to not try and do everything I can to help her.

You know I don’t mind the fact that the Hrothgar are a male only race, but the thing that bugs me about them is…

They look like Shrek going through a furry phase. 

Like damn, I really hope they have a sub race of the Hrothgar that look less like the cyclops models and more like the Ronso.

i’ve seen a lot of people upset and fighting with one another over this and i wanted to share my own opinion and especially some evidence i think people are overlooking right now, specifically this 

its very hard to notice on a full watch through because really people are so excited about the reveal in general but…. these 4 viera women in the preview share the same face model. this means likely the viera are still so new in development these prototypes (as stated they are) were pushed out quickly to deliver fans with something to be excited about during fanfest and were easier to make than males as they didnt need to be started from the ground up due to fran already being modeled. they prioritized showing off customization capabilities of different ear types and some of the hair selections over armor and even more faces.

aside from that genderlocking would be market suicide and theyve already learned this from 1.0….. but yeah thats just my two cents - i really wanted to point out that all of them share one face model just to show that these are still early concepts so nobody should be fighting or worrying too badly.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
