I feel like I've been apologizing a lot, lately... Sadly, I must again.
Recently, someone very close to me lost their long struggle with Stage 4 cancer. She left this world a few days ago, and I've been dealing with the emotional toll. It killed most creativity, and it's been... Harsh.
I'm slowly getting a grip on reality again, and I appreciate your patience.

Getting older…
I look back at this last year, and wonder if I’ve been a real problem for any that know me.
For RP partners young and old, all I can say is thank you. Thank you so much for all the memories and stories we’ve shared, be they short or ongoing.
And, as the day comes to an end, I raise my glass to you all. Maybe we’ll have some good times at the end of it all.

"Celeste! Darling! My my, how long has it been?" The raven haired woman stepped up, smiling as she saw the familiar figure.
;;-- Looking up from the glass of wine she was in the process of pouring, she almost dropped the bottle in sheer surprise. Thankfully, she was able to catch it without spilling a single drop. Saved from wasting a bottle and alcohol...
The ravenette who graciously greeted her with such enthusiasm was a face she hadn't seen in some time. An eternity, it felt like...but she was, nonetheless, pleased to see her. She grinned.
"Well, I'll be damned...!", she breathed, setting the glass down and passing it to the expecting customer. "Been some time...many moons 'ave gone by, but I knew ye were still out an' around. How've ye been, love? C'n I get ye anythin'?", her accent flavored each word she spoke. While there was a mild slur to it (and let's face it, Celeste spoke quickly. It was one of her many habits), it didn't detract from the other understanding her.
Red, flowing dress clung tightly to the shapely figure of the woman as she stepped in, smiling at the sight before her. Good reflexes too...
“A bottle of your finest red wine, please,” a voice of pure silver, each word tinged with her heritage’s own play, said like each syllable was a pick up line. A sway in her hips that was meant to draw eyes. She was an eyeful, and Tia Dalma made sure that each time someone looked to her, that’s exactly what they got. She sat at the bar, the pleased look never leaving her ruby lips. “Its been far too long. I fear my perception of time is different, but that doesn’t make this any less... Special, my dear.”
I want to start by thanking anyone that's still on my friend's list even after all this time.
Long story short, I have had to take care of family and friends across country. And, that meant shit internet until recently.
Now, things have calmed (*fingers crossed*) and if there's anyone that wants to try and RP once again, I want to get back into it.

Sorry if I've been too quiet, but things haven't improved (yes, on a worldly scale too, but I mean personally).
Still dealing with family in Dead Zone USA, so the impromptu hiatus continues. And, no one's doing installations of internet ("I have money, I have money!") so getting back online involves hotspot hopping.
I wanna get back to RP as soon as I can, so if anyone even wants to with me anymore, let me know?
