Reizo Ryugasaki commonly known as Rei to most citizen. He was a well accomplished police officer within Republic city and a prodigy fire bender. With the spirits returning and the vines sprouting it resulted into a miniature forest dwelling with in an advanced city. Rei took this forest as a place to train and meditate. Ever since a young age he held a close connection to the spiritual realm and interacted with the various spirits that visited our world. Currently he was finishing up an intense sparing session between himself and another spirit. ❝Heh,  I guess thats enough training for today… I should head to the police department before Chief Beifong notices I came to visit you guys, again———❞ Picking up on some strange sounds behind him he turned around and averted his optics to the moving bushes.  ❝Who’s there?

"Aw spirits, how in the world did I get in this place out of anywhere else? Man, I though I would have been able to find my way through," Hong Lien mutters to herself, looking around the area as she brushed away some of the vines. "'By now you should find the herb,' he said. 'It'll be easy,' he said. Yeah, even though that took me about twenty minutes to try and get it." It would have been nice to admit that she was taking a simple walk, but there wasn't exactly many people who would take a casual stroll in this part of the city. Hearing another person's voice, she quickly held her hands up as she sidestepped away from some of the spirit vines.

"It's just me, Hong Lien." She replies at first, her eyes falling on a human not too far away. Oh good, another person. Hong Lien let out a quiet sigh of relief, dropping her hands. "I'm just a part-time waitress, that's it." The woman adds, looking around.

Roda nodded and smiled. “Sure, happy to help.” He kept trying to calm the spirit in his arms, looking around to see where the other blighters were. He spotted one on a table that was, thank god, empty. He rushed over to it and scooped it up.

"Alright… That’s two of them," he mused to himself. He was fairly sure that three had came in, but as spirits they probably didn’t need to use the door.

"What are you, eh? Are you babies, or just really really small?" He looked at them and smiled with sympathy. "You’re cute, I’ll admit, but you’ve still got to go." They seemed content to stay put so long as he kept petting them. He looked back around for Hong Lien. He couldn’t see any more spirits. "If you’re babies, you must have a mother…"

"Geez, they've been in here less than five minutes at least and already they've crashed half of the place..."  Hong Lien muttered, bending a trail of water to clean up the spilled broth from an order of seaweed noodles. Luckily the table was empty, so no one was disturbed when the spirits were amuck.

"Oh well, at least this is mainly a part time job anyways," she added, dropping the water with its contents into a bucket she had grabbed earlier. Of course she wanted to joke about how this was nearly like her full time job, seeing how she would nearly be here almost everyday of the week. She had paused in her work to turn over to Roda, who seemed to have the spirits in check.

"How's that going out for you?" The waitress asked, raising a hand to the side of her mouth as if that would help project her voice better.

My hair? “Do what?” He looked up, as if he could see the curly lock between his brows. "You mean this thing?" Lifting a hand, he grabbed the piece between a couple fingers and gave it a twist. "I just style it this way I guess. With a little bit of grease or cream when I can get a hold of the stuff." He glanced at the young woman a little skeptically. “Why? Does it look bad?” I think it looks good! But if it does look bad, then why did no one tell me? I’ve been sporting this look since I was a kid!

"Bad? Pfft, no it's doesn't," she laughed, folding her arms. Even if she barely knew the other at all, it seemed to fit him. After all, there was no need to diss on his personal style and all now. Her eyes focused on the tips of his fingers, watching him tweak it a bit as he answered her question.

"I was just curious of how you got it to stay like that, like if it was kind of natural or not I mean." She explained, shrugging to herself slightly . Whether or not it made sense to him, Hong Lien hoped it did.

"I mean it looks nice and all on you, so I can't really say it looks bad on you." The woman added, muttering an 'eh' to herself.
