Hey I know it's been longer than 2 years but are we allowed to draw fanarts for your homestuck fics? Or if you want to be rid of this fandom forever we understand!!
I don’t use tumblr often, so I have no idea how old this ask is. On the off chance you’re still checking/waiting for a reply, I’m gonna go ahead and answer.
Yeah, I’m totally cool with fanart of my homestuck fics! I no longer write for the fandom or really consume fanwork for it, but it’s a series that introduced me to so many wonderful friends I’m still close with to this day, and for which I wrote a lot of fics that pushed me to do new things and improve my writing. There are things I wrote for homestuck that I feel I could execute better now, purely on a technical level of how I would tell the story, but the fics as they are are still things that I’m proud of.
Or, TL;DR: heck yes, if you’re inspired by my fics I’d still love to see your art, although considering how long it takes me to check tumblr, if you want me to SEE your art, drop me a mention on my twitter.
