I liked the final episode. I’ve enjoyed the whole season actually. It’s not my favourite, but it’s a completely fine season.

Because You Love to Hate Me Anthology
I only have things to say about the Sherlock Holmes one. I hated it and Susan Dennard is now at the top of my “authors I’ll never touch with a ten foot pole”-List
I’m tempted to give this whole anthology a 1 star review because of Susan Dennards butchering of the Sherlock Holmes canon. The whole thing reads like a horrible fanfiction. And most importantly DONT GENDERBEND CHARACTERS SO YOU CAN HAVE A STRAIGHT COUPLE. This was so annoying and so infuriating. Further, the character of “Shirley” Holmes was an absolute ridiculous image of the Sherlock Holmes we can read about in the novels. It seems Dennard only watched a few of the movies, maybe heard a bit about Sherlock Holmes, but never really did any research. She probably read The Final Problem, and there was that. Her depiction of Jim Moriarty was passable. The worst part of it all was when she wrote about the kiss and comparing it in “Shirley’s” mind to falling. Don’t even begin to butcher Reichenbach Falls. All you had to do was read a wikipedia article, and you could have done 10 times this.
