hey there, i came across your page and noticed that you live in the DC area... i recently accepted a job offer near there (starting in june), and was wondering if you could answer a couple of questions about living in DC/finding apartments etc. any help/advice that you might have would be greatly appreciated! thanks :)
Hi, hope all is well. Looking for an apartment in DC can be challenging depending on your income. You will want to stay away from SE and SW, NW is typically your more gentrified area and safer. If you find something you like in DC, put a rent deposit on if immediately. Things go really really fast here. My one bedroom apartment in NW costs 1600 a month. Let me know if you have any specific questions. Otherwise, the city is great. Lots to do and good people.
