I am mad about cellphone cameras hiding the processing they do, and I am glad about software that lets me control it and opt in and out, and I dictated this rant on insta so I am resharing the images here and will attempt to turn this into a useful text post on my blog in future, when my hand is working better 🤘👍

girl I almost forgot it was wednesday lol anyways, these chapters are some of my favorite in the book. They're emblematic of what the book really is in a way the beginning is not. I'm still hitting my head against the wall with that. I've been looking over my library, reading the first few pages, just trying to absorb what they're doing. When my bibi first fled Iraq for Austria she housed a homeless alcoholic for a week. She fed him and cared for him, and everyone advised against it. They didn’t even speak the same language, but she continued to care for him. He came back to her home years later, this time he was sober and told my aunt he got sober because of my grandmothers help. An immigrant Muslim woman in a country so hostile toward her cared for him when his own people wouldn’t. These are the stories I have to remind myself to center now more than ever.

WILD looking game that just came out that I don't see anyone talking about despite the accolades trailer.
Everything in this was handmade and digitally scanned into, I assume, Unreal engine. Between that and the mocap, it gives it surreal anomolisa vibes.
I haven't played it, but I think I will. I wanted to pass it along in the mean time.
if you're like me and you need to keep an eye on your budget but you still want and need to maintain support for palestinians raising funds, my #1 advice is to impose a genocide tax on yourself.
I live in the UK, where the shitsack government is enriching itself on arms sales to Israel. whether I like it or not, my day to day life is intrinsically bound up with the slaughter of palestinian civilians. I'm doing what I can to change that, but lol. lmao even.
in the meantime, I pay the genocide tax. For me it's 10%, but it's up to you to judge what's sustainable. Whenever I go grocery shopping, or pay for a new bus card, or buy new art supplies, I then pay 10% of that cost to somebody's fundraiser. Sometimes that's not much, but it's always something. More importantly, it's sustainable and it helps me to budget around continued support for the people who bear the brunt of my country's predatory foreign policy.

So this is just a gentle reminder: You gotta find time to actually open the resources, remove distractions, and put them to use if you want to learn. and if it helps, try to do it because learning and creating is fun and not for ulterior reasons like career or money (though I sympathize).
You might know him from the earlier internet cartoons, Bitey of Brackenwood. Finding out his course is free is also how I found out he's responsible for that one super saiyan football gif. You know the one.
Adam Phillips is LEGIT. This course is old as far as the internet is concerned, but I can't imagine that the information is dated or that it's not going to be as good to use as the Animator's Survival Kit. Even if it was you can't argue for free. He still suggests that it's a 260 dollar value, and I believe that.
