Jn slows once John obviously hides. The forest was quiet for them, as he slowly circled and listened. “I am going to destroy you, and it will be so much fun. You can’t hide for long, something will make you run again.” He leaps over a couple trees, not close to John but making enough noise.

When jn purposefully makes noise John takes off again. This time he doesn't bother to even try to hide, he just sprints as fast as he can, not looking back until he's cornered against a stone wall far too tall for him to climb.

Jn let him run ahead, following soon after on foot. He growls softly as he approaches John, wanting the chase and the hunt. “Better run quick little love, I will devour you.” He chuckles softly, almost to him.

The sound of Jn's voice sends John off like a bullet. He charged deep into the thicket, nestling in behind a wide burrow of fallen tree's, ears twitching as he listens closely for his attacker.

Jn wanted to zoom about as well, watching John enjoy his new senses. “Just a little, makes you want to zoom off after it huh?” He leans down a little, mouth to John’s ear. “Go, run fast my little buck. Don’t get caught or you’ll get eaten up.” He growls softly, nipping the top of his ear.

Not needing any further motivation, John takes off. The feeling of the grass and dirt under his feet is amazing, every step making him feel more and more feral. Even with his glasses bouncing on his nose, his vision is so much more defined, despite his speed. He bounds over a few branches and rocks, stopping about half a mile up where he'd heard the bunnies thumping. There's a small little burrow at the sight of the noise, inside of it is a cluster of babies, so of course John sticks his head inside, tail wiggling excitedly as he tries to coax them out.

Jn shakes his head and walks with him into the forest, kissing one of his horns. “You’re terrible, so very very wrong.” He chuckles, getting deeper and deeper into the trees. “I was trying to be sweet dork, they do look pretty nice. Get a few years on you and they’d be pretty deadly.”

As the pair walks, John's ears twitch. His heightened senses are causing him to notice each little sound echoing out of the forest. For some reason he feels like running. Just taking off in a full sprint. So, he pauses, taking off his shoes just to feel the ground under his feet. "Can you hear that?" He asks, gesturing his head towards a nearby crick, the sound of rabbits thumping their feet beside it.

Jn snorts, there was already a foxy Dave napping in his bed so he took John’s hand and led him outside. “Why, I almost want to know.” He chuckles and kisses John softly, careful enough to not run into his antlers. “Got some pretty tines up there.”

Almost immediately John smiles, his tail wiggling happily at the sight of Dave, when he see's Jn it moves even faster, ears perking up slightly. "Get it? Because I don't have a mom. And I'm a deer."He takes his hand with a happy little bounce in his gait, elated to finally have some time off to spend with his loved ones. When Jn kisses him John sighs softly, pressing up slightly before snorting at the remark. "Scuse the fuck outta you, but these bad boys are pretty intimidating." He lies, running a hand over one of the short little antlers. "You're just jealous~"

John pockets his phone, pausing to take a second glance in the mirror. Sure he's had plenty of anons before that have made him part animal, actually he'd borrowed the DNA of most of the animal kingdom at one point or another, but this is the first time he'd been turned into a deer. It didn't feel all that much different from some of the transformations he'd gotten before, aside from the sudden craving for greens, and the weight of antlers on his forehead.Once he's done observing his strange new look he hops into the transportalizer, poking his head out once he's arrived. 

"I feel like I should make a dead bambi mom joke."

John takes in a few steady breaths and lays his head against Jn’s chest, feeling overly emotional and overly exhausted. “I’m so fucking lucky to have you. I don’t know what I’d do without you.” He lets his eyes close, one hand gently squeezing Jns. “You make me happy.”

Jn picked him up slowly and took him to bed, slipping a pair of loose boxers on John. “I’d be lost without you, gone mad and lonely.” He whispers softly, curling up beside his sweetheart. “I never want to leave you, and I never want this to happen to you again.”

John yawned softly, curling into him until they reach the bedroom. He helps shimmy himself into the boxers before curling back into Jn's form, fitting easily against his chest. "M'love you s'much."He mutters through a sleepy fog, keeping one hand wound tight in Jn's shirt as he slowly dozes off.
