Due to some rather unfortunate circumstances at her old school, “Eri” over here found herself transferred rather quickly to Beach City High, mid-year no less. Now what?

Some stuff: “Eri” is a nickname, about 5ft, usually grumpy, really loves her tech stuff, has no idea what she’s doing at a school where she literally knows nobody. She doesn’t show much emotion. She has a really dry sense of humor and is usually flat in tone.

((Opal is a Basketball person who is tall and hits her head on the Doorframes when she goes to class. She also talks to herself a lot and is kind of strange from other human bean’s perspectives. Very conflicted about eating Food. She does all the bad kid things without getting caught and her method is “do the bad thing until told it is bad”))

“Why are you so mad?”

(I AM DOING THE HIGH SCHOOL THING!)

Waking up was a tad rude. The first she sees sitting up is the blurry outline of her current project: a titanium framed prosthetic arm. The second thing she sees is the clock, or well, the blurry image of what she assumed was the clock. Late for class once more is the only thing in her mind as she guesses the numbers the wobbly looking hands are at. Malachite must have fallen asleep while working at the laboratoy again.

None of her coworkers woke her up. Rude.

She rubbed her eyes and fixes the thick lensed glasses over the bridge of her nose. A quick stretch resulted in a symphony of loud pops from her back and small relief from the tension that had been the consequence of sleeping with her face on the work bench. With a solid hand she swiped her back pack up. Her clothes would have to do for today. A few oil stain wouldn’t harm anyone.

Malachite was already out the door when she realized she didn’t have her phone on her. A sharp U turn back into the lab and frenzied shuffle around the tool box later, she blew some dust off the old Nokia phone and sent a text message.

Nodding at the screen she headed off to school at a run.

I’m Pearl, straight edge/straight A student at Beach City High. I’m part of the gymnastics team and am best friends w/ Peri and am (sorta maybe??) dating Ame.

((Pearl is Peri’s best friend, worries over her like a mother bird. Gives Peri notes when she falls asleep during class and brings her bento lunches cuz Peri is weaboo nerdlord; she herself is a vegetarian. D & D + tabletop gamer primarily but plays co-op video games w/ Peri. Is the one always screaming at jump scares. 

Pearl is into gymnastics and dance but can swim well. Is acquaintances w/ Lapis thru the swim team meets that Pearl sometimes comes to watch. Sneaks smooches w/ Ame behind the storage shed after gymnastics practice.

And yes that is one of Ame’s sweatshirts.))

Lapis who? Oh, Lapis Lazuli, Lazuli being my last name. Gotta love my parent’s naming skills.

I’m the new kid at Beach City High, and I heard some other kids at my school are doing this blog thing too, so why not? I just want to get the school year over with, anyways. I’m too homesick for this stuff and after getting stuck in some old one-stall bathroom in school for three days- I’m done with this place.

If any of you need theovercookedrunt look in the obituaries tomorrow. I swear if the officer catches us skipping class because of this…

I just want to sleep and get this over with but these two are picking another fight in detention. I hope they don’t decide to flip my table again, that would suck. Beach City High has the worst tables in detention and one day they’re going to break one. Hopefully not mine.
