The thing that has me very skeptical about a sc proposal is that at CC and ever since, they legit were laughing at the possibility of anything resembling a SJW. They could be lying, but keep in mind that last year, when they were about to do the horrific Caroline pregnancy, they all but outright spoiled it at CC. What I mean is that I think this one could be way off the mark. Or not, bc this is JP's Thirstday, after all, and she's determined to live out all her RL fantasies before TVD ends.
The thing that sucks so horribly about this entire situation though is that the shows have gone so far off the rails that every time someone says something logical I can think of a crazy way to refute it that is actually possible because Thirstday is insane.

No it wasn’t. It was against the Lakota people at Wounded Knee in 1890. 150 people lost their lives that day. As if our government didn’t do enough to these people. Now we are going to erase their history.
Nothing is going to change. Americans love their guns more than they love people and after Sandy Hook we decided that killing over 20 children was acceptable and not outrageous enough to make reasonable restrictions on guns. This is America, a country that has been around for 200 years, a superpower, a 1st world nation, and one of the wealthiest countries on the planet and we refuse to protect our own people. We respect guns more than we respect the lives of people.
What specific gun control measures would you propose and how would they directly and effectively make society safer?

I have never laughed so hard at a gun law post. Like seriously, the evidence is in fucking reality. The proposed restrictions are just fucking logic.
That is all fine and dandy for people that buy them legally, but how are you going to tackle the sale of illegal guns? You know, the thousands and thousands that find their way to the inner cities. That is a huge problem in this country. Oh and it’s America.
so on one hand we have a Muslim father who is apologizing for the crimes of his son against LGBT people and saying how his son’s actions were motivated by hatred and wants to “apologize for the entire thing.”
And on the other hand we have the white Stanford rapist’s dad who is telling the world to feel bad for his son because he just wanted 20 minutes of action and now he can’t eat steak like he used to.

- 2007: 32 killed in Blacksburg, Virginia, the worst school shooting in American history to date.
- 2012: 27 killed at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Connecticut.
- 2016: 50 killed at an LGBT nightclub in Orlando, Florida, confirmed by the shooter’s father to be a hate crime.
Whatever the cause might be for such a stark increase in mass shootings, the bottom line is that the United States needs gun control now more than ever.
I despise guns and would never own one, but can you explain to me how we are going to control the illegal guns that no one registers or adheres to any gun control policies. Please go look at the number of kids that are killed in the inner cities by these illegal guns. Guns that you can buy on a street corner in these tough neighborhoods. I know, because I was raised in one of them.
