tbh I’d love a horror-comedy about a retail worker accidentally becoming a ghost/demon hunter because they’re just so unfazed by difficult and weird and bellicose customers that evil entities aren’t much more of a challenge.

“sir or ma'am or neuter, I’m going to have to ask you to stop crawling on the ceiling, you’re disturbing the other residents”

“please leave this place before I call the exorcist to remove you from the premises”

“company policy forbids me from accepting power from customers in exchange for my soul or firstborn child”

“sir, if you keep speaking to me like that, I’m going to have to end this spirit board conversation. have a good day, goodbye”

Male students assume their male classmates are smarter than their female classmates, no matter their actual GPAs.

Researchers at the University of Washington surveyed 1,700 students from three biology classes and found that “males enrolled in undergraduate biology classes consistently ranked their male classmates as more knowledgeable about course content, even over better-performing female students,” according to the researchers. Essentially, the results indicated that male students believed “a male with a B and a female with an A have the same ability,” the study’s co-lead author Sarah Eddy explained in a press release.

This ultimately resulted in male biology students demonstrating 19 times more gender bias than women, who barely showed gender bias in the evaluation of their peers, according to Vox. How this bias tangibly affects women.

every bioware animation

  • back of the head scratch
  • a character shaking their head in disbelief or disgust with hand on their forehead, looking down
  • that kiss animation used since origins and in every mass effect game where they very slowly go in, hesitate, bop their heads around, and really go in for the kiss
  • when a character, usually female, talks and puts their two hands in front of them like a robot and shakes them to illustrate their point
  • a character leans back on one leg with their arms loose
  • the exit-stage-right an NPC does after a conversation ends
  • angry limp wrist pointing
  • neck/collar bone scratch
  • a slow crossing of the arms in times of suspicion
  • that punch animation
  • drinking alcohol and violently shaking head
  • a character gives a half smile with an eyebrow raised
  • pointing behind with thumb, body turns very slightly
