So yeah apparently sometimes a car needs repairs and the bill is higher than [insert stoner joke here]. And I would happen to need a little help! Because yeah. Alright so I’ve been thinking about this for a little while: I really want to shake the writing muse. I miss writing, be it as Maxie or as any other muse I have.
But the thing is, writing takes energy, and this blog... well. It’s BIG. With over 1k followers (you’re still there despite my absence w o a h), it’s hard to say a potential return is stress-free. I am not saying I’m starting anew, or rebooting. I’ll keep the blog situated here, no problem with that! I might come back soon, just... not here for now. I’ll go to a smaller blog for which I can handle traffic. Probably on my OC blog (remember Jay? He’s still alive. Somewhat.), since the number of followers is much lower there ;v;

‘ mandus, are we going? ‘snapping back to it, looking away from the street and to maxie patiently waiting, mandus cleared his throat, and nodded.‘ mhm. ‘ it was a touch more comforting knowing that he was there, a steady rock in the river of people surging around them as they stepped out.their shoulders brushed (hands not touching, as much as mandus would have liked the contact during this time, the need to respect maxie surpassed any desire or want), sticking close together.when maxie pushed himself more snugly to mandus’ side, his arm curled about his waist without further thought.as maxie’s head settled against his shoulder, mandus felt himself exhale, relaxing.he could do this.

the first fireworks began to light and sail into the sky, bursting out even brighter than the stars.breaking apart to admire the bursts of color, it did not take long for them to return to one another once more, their backs turning to the fireworks, and vanishing into the darkness of the route back home.but, whether they had decided to stay in slateport, or return back to lavaridge, mandus knew that wherever that may be, home would always be with maxie.

I honestly can’t believe how far this blog has come in the span of 2 and a half years. I’ve met so many great people through this blog! Some have come and gone, and a few are still here to this day putting up with Giratina’s shit. I never would have expected to reach 500, hell, I remember how surprised I was to reach 100 followers!! It’s kinda nice I hit 500 at the end of the year though since I can just lump them both together into one post. I’ve made so many great memories, and seeing Giratina grow and develop into who she is today warms my heart so much… All of the kind messages and praise I’ve received over the years, all of the support I’ve gotten on my headcanons, all of the silly RPs I’ve done… they’re all thanks to you guys. Thank you for sticking around, no matter if you followed me when this blog was fresh, or if you followed just yesterday!

I’ve been waiting a bit before giving news, because man everything I’ve been posting lately is ‘lol im busy bbl’... which is still true, sadly.
THE GOOD NEWS, HOWEVER is that I heard back from my professors. And I have stuff to correct on my thesis paper. Should these corrections be brought (which I am working on right now) and accepted, I’ll officially graduate. I’m trying to get all this stuff done for the Holidays, because I would very much like to enjoy a couple days off ;v;

God I feel like I say that a LOT but HEYYY sorry for the absence again. I’m gonna say, life has been going up and down with stuff and me trying to deal with two jobs and school all at once. I finally handed in my thesis, and I’ll have to wait until I get the results before I properly come back to tumblr because I haven’t been in a good mindset for writing. Thing is, it’s pretty stressful when uni sends you an official letter basically saying it’s do or die concerning my thesis: either it’s accepted and I obtain my master’s degree, or it’s declined and I am kicked out of the program regardless of my past grades. Because that’s how stuff works apparently. So yeah once I get my results the stress will hopefully drop down a notch and I’ll be able to relax and write again qvq I’ll keep y'all informed! Thanks for sticking with me qvq
