Wow, it's been quite a while since we got an Autistic Selfie day! What happened?
Ah yeah I’m really sorry. Like basically I was already struggling to keep up with it because at the time I was taking 15 hours of classes, working basically full time at a bakery doing really intensive heavy-lifting running around type work,(which was upsetting my chronic joint pain) I was also the Vice President of my college’s GSA, I had just joined a sorority, and I held the second highest office in the state for a Masonic youth service organization.
I was the selfie mod on this blog as well as being a mod on like 2 other blogs. Then the main mod messaged me to say that he was leaving tumblr and left the blog to me and I couldn’t handle it all so I just dropped tumblr altogether and my life is slowly falling back into place and becoming manageable so I’m slowly starting to use tumblr again starting with my personal blog and now this blog, hopefully I can pick up using the others soonish. I do need help with it though so I’m taking mod applications. I have one person interested and I would ideally like at least one more.
And yeah I’m sorry I didn’t announce hiatus but honestly the main reason I didn’t is that I didn’t really decide to go on hiatus, it just sort of happened even though I tried for it not to but yeah I’m really sorry

I deleted almost everything everything in the askbox because I wasn't sure what would still be relevant anymore. I kept a couple of messages. One was a request to delete post with pictures of that person and I will do that as soon as I get on tumblr off mobile and the other was a blog recommendation for a studyblr blog for autistic people which sounds pretty cool so I'll see if the blog is still active. Some of the others seemed important but so much time has passed that everything has probably been resolved with it? But if you have a question that you sent and was never answered and isn't one of the two I just mentioned and you still are interested, please resend it (unless it was hatemail, don't bother resending that, it will only be deleted again). I'm really sorry for my absence and that I couldn't be there to handle everything while it mattered.

Hopefully soon it will be! I’m very sorry. The main mod left and let me take control, because tumblr can cost a lot of spoons and he found that his life was less stressful without it. Unfortunately I had a similar experience and couldn’t really handle it and everything else going on in my life around the same time the blog was being handed over to me. I felt relief because I felt that if I didn’t keep up with my mod duties (which was just selfie saturday until I was given the entire blog) then because I was no longer supervised, I could get away with it. I was under a lot of stress but I should have announced a temporary hiatus. I’ve started to use my personal blog again and hopefully I’ll have enough energy to manage all of my side blogs too eventually (hopefully soon)
Hey! I've been wondering. I see the ''actuallyautistic'' tag everywhere, and it's often combined with asperger tags. Does the ''actuallyautistic'' tag also cover asperger's, as it's in the autism spectrum, or does the ''actuallyautistic'' tag only cover autism?
I believe it covers both, aspergers is an autism spectrum disorder and actually doesn’t exist as it’s own diagnosis anymore. It is a form of autism so the tag covers it too.
