Mana Shim Project

Hello there!

It’s been quite a few years since this thing happened. This tumblr was previously manashimbirthday, aka the Mana Shim Birthday Project. 

For those of you who are new, in 2014 we put together a birthday book full of birthday messages and fan art for Mana and sent it out to Portland for her. (She still has the book, btw.)

Although her birthday is in September, I thought I’d do something a little special for her this summer. I often tell Mana how special of a person she and how good she is and how much people love her and I know sometimes she doesn’t believe me. I think she’ll need reminding every now and then, and I know people tweet her and message her all the time, but I think it’d be cool to have something like….a jar full of fan “tweets”/notes.

This is where you guys come in!

From now until July 18, you guys can send me a short and sweet message to Mana! It can be anything like how she’s inspired you, how you admire her on the field, or how she’s a positive light in the LGBT community - anything! Now these can’t be too long because I will be putting them on pieces of paper and placing them in a jar, so you get 280 characters (like a tweet - see what I did there?) for your message to Mana.

At the end you can also include your name and your social media handle(s) if you so desire (these don’t count towards your 280 characters).

Interested in Live Streaming Games Again

hey guys, don’t know if most of you guys remember me but i used to stream USWNT games and NWSL games regularly when international fans couldn’t find any decent streams. with the SheBelieves Cup underway i’m interested in streaming once again. if you guys could drop some games you guys would like to watch live in my ask that’d be a great start! i havent been very active in women’s soccer in a good while due to school and really new hobbies and interests, but I do miss interacting with other fans and helping international fans with viewing. requests DO NOT have to be USWNT or NWSL, you can request other NTs and college teams if you’d like! i have access to ESPN and FoxSports so I will be able to provide at the MINIMUM 480p and at the MAXIMUM 720p since my stream does downgrade from the original 1080p source. so you can send me a request through an ask on here or on my twitter @Sam_Streams, my DMs are open so you do NOT have to follow me on there! but i do live “”commentary”” lol, when im streaming if you’re into that. 

i’ve started a brand new youtube channel just for live streaming games, i won’t be posting any new or original content as i don’t have the time for that. when i stream the game it will be an UNLISTED stream, you will have to have a direct link to find the game. otherwise you will be unable to just type in the youtube search for it. i will post the unlisted links publicly on tumblr and twitter.

alright hope i can still provide good streams for those unable to watch their team!
