Decided it was time for a new tattoo, and words cannot explain how much this one means to me. Ten years ago from Thursday (Dec 15), I had a spinal fusion done. I was 16 and it was pretty scary. But then I became obsessed with the technology. That exact moment pushed me towards a career in Biomechanics. So, exactly ten years later - I’m working as an Engineer on spinal implants and instruments. I’ve had this tattoo idea rolling around in my head for about 2 years, and with all the events lining up perfectly… I knew it was time.
