April Fool's Day in my household has always traditionally been observed in silly, largely harmless ways (as a child I put my clothes on backwards for school, tied the sink nozzle down, and put stickers on my parents' backs), but the Tapening™ began a few years back when my father lovingly, attentively wrapped a long strip of blue painter's tape around my phone.
Couldn't find the blue tape this year, so for lack of my usual agent of chaos, I whipped out my roll of novelty Rosie the Riveter packing tape (!) and Rosie'd the house.

(I believe anon is referring to a comment I made about a new mask on a post about COVID-19 - though I can't find it now, it was probably about how I've gone out and bought myself a "crazy looking" new mask for work!)
It's nothing new (I believe they're usually used for hazardous work like painting? the leaflet mentions paint a lot) but I think "crazy looking" about covers it! Please enjoy, anon et al. I wish I could point you all towards buying one, but I got them from The N95 Project, which has just closed down. :( I think I was one of their last orders! I'm glad I bought it. I know they're still made (by Dentec) but they seem to only come in wholesale now.
(I'm excited to not get COVID at work next year, and excited because even though no one will see it, this mask won't rub off all my lipstick lmao)
