Hey, guys. Sorry about my absence. After much deliberation, I’ve decided to remake my personal blog elsewhere. I don’t really feel comfortable on this dashboard anymore, but I also don’t want to unfollow anyone because I don’t want them to think I left on a bad note. I just really need to start fresh. Sierra is the youngest of a family of three dogs. We adopted her from our local pet shelter when she was only 8 weeks old. She fit instantly in our family and became a well-loved member of her pack. Sierra's loving and playful personality showed instantly. She has always been very eager to please, and learn new tricks. Her favorites things to do are to catch a Frisbee, fetch a toy and play peek a boo with her best friend Scarlet (our pit-bull/boxer). [ ... ] Some time in that month, Sierra had developed a limp that didn't seem to go away. We were worried and hurried to the vet only to discover that, during one of her playing sessions, Sierra had torn the ligament in her left knee. Due to the nature of her injury, there is an extremely high chance that the other knee's ligament could also tear, in under two years. We come to you to plead on your compassion for any donations to help with Sierra's vet bills. The estimate for her surgery is more than my family can afford, and it breaks my heart seeing this sweet girl that has lost so much in so little time, feeling so down and unable to play because she's in so much pain. She is currently taking pain medications but those can only hold her off for so long. All donations, small or large, will be used strictly to help with vet expenses and are greatly appreciated. Every dollar counts! My family and I appreciate any and all support with this much needed surgery. From the bottom of our hearts, and Sierra's, we thank you!
