For those unaware, the northern coastal region of Ecuador was hit with a deadly 7.8 magnitude earthquake on Saturday night (4/16/16). At the time of writing this, the death toll is over 500 people and is expected to continue rising.
If you ever wanna know what solidarity looks like, take a look at Ecuador, right now. I trust this people, this country will rise again, we might be one of the smallest countries but we have the biggest heart.
Every city in Ecuador that was lucky enough to be safe (or that wasn’t as damaged as the north coast) is gathering a lot of stuff for the people who were affected by the earthquake !! there are thousands of people who are on the streets now because they have no home to return to, entire families asking desperately for food and water... but we are brothers and sisters, we will get to you!!
