The originals really should've been obsessed with Bonnie. The way Bennett witches were wrapped up in everything, they most likely knew several of her ancestors over the centuries. Damon too should've come to mystic falls seeking Bonnie out, especially with the somergraham chemistry it could've been really interesting

Eric feels guilty about being attracted to Pam Macy physically. He thinks to himself or says to the angel that maybe he doesn’t deserve Donna because of this.
Buddy will give Eric (and maybe all his friends) the concert tickets. Buddy takes Jackie’s place in the Vista Cruiser.
ERIC asks Buddy why Buddy’s nice to him. Eric’s the new kid at school, etc. Buddy says he knows what it’s like not to fit in. “Yeah, I’m popular and rich, but I still have to hide part of who I really am … just like you.”

This was awesome. I really enjoyed it.
Today, six months have passed since I've come home from the hospital!
I've made a lot of progress during this time. I have muscles again 💪 😁. Instead of needing a Walker to walk, I'm climbing stairs and getting in half-hour walks with 3.5 lb weights on each ankle. Working on stamina is my current focus in physical therapy. But I'm also continuing with strength-training and balance.
I came home with a frozen right shoulder (staying in the hospital a month, while life-saving, also deconditions the body big-time). My shoulder unfroze with stretching a month ago, and now I'm rebuilding the muscles around it.
I also came home with a feeding tube in my stomach. That came out two months ago, and I'm eating a variety of foods, working with a specialist nutritionist.
I had a liver drain, too (that suuuucked), but that was removed a few weeks after I got home.
My surgical wound was the Grand Canyon. It's healed a lot but still has months to go. It prevents me from doing certain things, including working on my laptop. Can't finish the batch of comics that just need dialogue boxes. 😅
But I'm using my tablet to write, continuing to work on *Those Who Play with Demons*. This T7S fic is going to break my chapter record. I'm such a sweet summer child when I let my imagination run free, thinking all these story and character elements can fit into 1/5 of the chapters they actually need. This one's breaking the hundred-chapter barrier easily. (But it's organized is such a way that I haven't done previously.)
The characters of Point Place have never experienced what my story is doing to them. 😈😇
Although I have a ways to go to regain all the things I can regain without a colon, my health is very good! And I'm going to keep moving forward.
Another surgery is on the menu, but that probably won't be for a year. I'm seeing my surgeon next month to talk about it. This one won't be done in a life-saving emergency situation like my first one. All the work I'm doing is, in part, to be in the best shape possible for the next (and last, let's hope) surgery that will put my small intestine back where biology intended. 😂
When the time comes, I'll make a post here. No disappearing without a word (barring unforeseen events). I shouldn't be in the hospital longer than three to five days. But, again, I'm talking a year from now.

Wow I finally caught up!
You know what. We rag on Elena for having Ric compel her memories of Damon away but I forgot Stefan was going to do the same thing with Elena after he found out she loved Damon. Remember Rebecca offered to do it but she’d only said it to hurt Elena so she could know Stefan would do it and hurt Stefan by not doing it and leaving him with his hurt feelings. Why don’t we remember that in the fanfic?

I love it when the gang realize that Jackie and hyde are actually good together, like they're a great couple. So maybe a fic where its from Eric or donnas perspective and the moment they realized that Jackie and hyde weren't creepy and unnatural but were actually good together and for each other.

Out of their entire friend group, Donna’s known Hyde the longest. He might be closest to Eric, and he might prefer spending most of his free time doing stupid shit with Kelso, but Donna met him first. She knew him first. And so for the longest time, Donna thought she knew him best.
That was until Hyde started dating Jackie.
Hyde is still Hyde most of the time. Still sharp, still paranoid, still willing to burn his friends and laugh at their expense. He’s familiar. He's the Hyde Donna knows and he’s the Hyde Donna grew up with. But then Jackie enters the basement, and despite half the seats in the room being empty, she sits herself down on his lap- and instead of being annoyed, or irritated, or even feeling a bit put off, Hyde just gets the quiet little smile on his face and he wraps his arms around her waist.
That’s the Hyde Donna doesn’t know.

They can't take it anymore! It's steven this, doll that. They somtimes hold hands and sit together, they do stuff without the rest of them but they're not dating. It's frustrating to everyone and they plan to do something about it. Operation get Jackie and Hyde together commences.....

Maya is in 8th grade and Josh is in 12th grade. This was always weird that Disney was pushing this. It’s still weird rewatching it.
Now Maya was supposed to be 14? Was she a year older like Lucas was???
The changed Eric Matthews from the character he was early in the beginning of BMW to a goofball and then whatever happened to him in GMW.

Rewatching Girl Meets the Secret of Life. Still dislike how much Riley tripped out because she didn’t know about Lucas’ past. She didn’t really need to know and truthfully Zay should have not walked in telling all his business like that. Riley was making too much of a big deal over something that had nothing to do with her. She made it all about herself as usual. She’s a big ass baby and so annoying here. Lucas didn’t have to trust her with anything until he was ready. She’s so entitled. Maybe he didn’t trust her yet. I wouldn’t cause look how she’s treating her friend whose never done anything to hurt her. She is upset because she wanted to know everything when it wasn’t truly any of her business. She had a tantrum and attacked him with the water hose because she felt entitled to all his business. What he did was none of her business. She’s too fucking dramatic. There’s a lot of cussing rewatching this 😆
I’ve been reading a lot of Lucaya fics lately, and one thing that has really struck me is a lot of writers’ shared assertion that Maya never would have forgiven Lucas and it wouldn’t have worked out initially if he had chosen her over Riley, because while Maya could take the heartbreak and continue being friends, Riley would not have been able to handle the jealousy and perceived betrayal (because she feels like she is entitled to Lucas, for a variety of reasons), and both Maya and Lucas’s and Maya and Riley’s relationships would have imploded.
And with what we have seen of Riley’s behavior (accusing Maya of turning into her and telling her to stop) when Maya gets good things in her life (passing grades, crush on a nice boy, new clothes, more positive outlook on life, etc.) this seems like a very likely outcome. As much as I would have wanted Riley and Maya to overcome these issues and preserve their friendship, Riley’s emotional immaturity, tendency toward jealousy/insecurity, and savior-complex in their relationship is something that desperately needed to be dealt with on the show. Which we will never get, both because the show was canceled and because the writers were cowards who didn’t want to acknowledge Riley’s many privileges in life, as well as her flaws.
Riley and Maya’s friendship could not have survived Lucas choosing Maya.
Did Lucas realize this? Was that part of why he went along with it when Maya pushed him toward Riley? It seems likely.
I’m certain that Lucas realized what was at stake if he didn’t chose Riley. Riley wouldn’t be able to handle rejection and the whole friend group would have imploded, if she wasn’t chosen. He saw how she treated Maya during the triangle (accusing Maya of turning in to her just because Maya was doing better in school, and then accusing Maya of stealing from the Cafe). Riley took over the Huckleberry Bond fantasy, and then she was telling them that they would destroy each other. if Riley can’t handle misplacing her teddy bear or the fact that someone doesn’t want to be friends with her, she for sure wouldn’t be able to handle not being the one picked in the triangle.
When Lucas was going to pick at the Bay window, he was going to pick Maya. When Maya stopped him from revealing who it was, he asked Maya what she wanted to do. If he had wanted to be with Riley, he could have just said “You’re right, I chose Riley”, but that’s not what happened.
In one scene at the ski lodge where MLR were all sitting together in front of the fireplace, Maya asked Lucas if he thought they’d all still be friends. He looked at her, and shrugged while making an ‘I dunno’ face.
Maya told Lucas that if HE CARED ABOUT HER (Maya), to go to Riley and tell her he loves her… He went to Riley but he couldn’t make himself say that to her.
Also, personally, I think the whole jellybean thing also hints to him not really choosing Riley. The jellybean represents that her good qualities tipped the scale in her favour, not that she is the one he wanted to be with.
Personally, I think that if the show was renewed for a 3rd season. Riley’s rose coloured glasses would come off and she would realize that Lucas isn’t her knight in shining armour. The endgame couples would have been Maya & Lucas, Riley & Farkle, and Smackle & Zay.
