Someday, we're supposed to believe, all this massive freight will move around our country driven by - what? Sunlight? The wind? Well, someday is not quite yet. Open the window, turn the music up, put the pedal down. Let's have a conversation.

okay but imagine being Linda in this situation like: you got married a while ago but he turned out to be an alcoholic and just generally a bit of a loser so as soon as you aren't at risk of being homeless anymore you divorce him and it may be tough but at least you got your two wonderful children out of it and you decide you're going to raise them into good, responsible, polite and hard working people. They've always been a bit different, your daughter is neurodivergent and gets along with horses better than with people and your son is a really polictically active gay musician who probably wants to sing at some point in his life. Neither of those things are paying really well but you'll be damned if you don't support their dreams. So you make them work hard at school so you can get them into this really popular and renowned boarding school where they can follow their dreams. All of your good parenting and support pays off and they actually get into said school.

Within a year both of them get involved in a national sex-scandal involving the royal family, your daughter sets a building on fire and now owns a horse and a car apparently, while your son briefly dealt with drugs, fistfought a guy, changed the schools anthem and also made the current crown prince abdicate by being a bit too woke and cute at the same time. Also the school closed down due to all the shit your children were involved in and your son owns a lot of money now.

Like- Linda really just released two well raised children into the upper class and watched the system crumble. Queen behaviour nobody is doing it like her.

I feel like when Simon confessed to wille that he cannot relax while singing anymore and wille reacted with "when does your bus come?" and they knew where this was going. This wasn't Wille ignoring his bf feelings but here we can clearly see that the language he speaks is psysical touch. He didn't know what to say but he wanted to make Simon feel better and that's what he went with

His love language is touch.

I think we haven't talked enough about the way wilmon are sitting in the hammock before it goes downhill in the tent :D Like Simon has his legs on top of Wille's and wille has his hands on top of simme's legs. This is so boyfriendish omg ❤️❤️

Casual Intimacy! 🥰 So happy that we saw a lot of that.

Ok y'all, can we talk about Omar's acting this season? Like he's always been amazing, but he got a meatier storyline this season that actually allowed him to show off the emotional bandwidth, and he KILLED it? The scenes where he cries to Linda/cries on the bus after the rock incident? Like my heart was ACHING, my maternal instincts were kicking in strong. The way he portrayed yearning and passion in all the intimate scenes? Simon's horrified face when watching Wille throw the presents? Simon's little face crying when breaking up with Wille? The way we saw Simon feel more and more alone? The way he slowly lost his relationship with music? The subtle ways we saw him lose himself throughout this season? Just give Omar all the awards and flowers. I am so grateful we got him as our Simon, I truly don't think anyone else could have played him with as much understanding and nuance. (and as much lovability)

I am so glad the show addressed racism this season. I saw a lot of people in the past say this show was about class not race, while disregarding how the two are inherently related, as this season showed! I wish the show had been even more explicit with it because I still am seeing people disregard it, but tbh, that's the thing about modern day racism, it's not always slurs, it's the nasty underlying stuff Felice has to go through this season...that people try to gaslight you into believing is not racism. AND all the awful racist comments Simon got being called an "import", the awful "Latinos are promiscuous" stereotypes. The abuses Felice and Simon have to go through are different from what the other students' at Hillerska deal with, because Felice and Simon are not white.

to know that s1 wille was so giddy and excited to tell erik about his new crush only to find out that he probably wouldn’t have accepted him is actually so heartbreaking

I mean, to be honest, if you have to do stuff like this because you are the Crown Prince, can't you at least choose something that you really care about, something that means something to you? Maybe related to mental health issues in young people. Or something to do with LGBTQ+. There's chaos everywhere. People are being jailed. People are murdered because of their sexual orientation.
