I watched Howl’s Moving Castle in a theater yesterday! It feels so special to see it again after all this time. I was nervous that I wouldn’t love it as much as I did in my first year of college, but I found a lot of new reasons to love it now. I might tweak this someday, but for now this is done 🌿

Awww my fav animated movie of all times 💙 Hayao Miyazaki at his best. Reading the book atm together with my kids and we enjoy it as much as we did the movie. Where on earth did you get to see it in a theater?! 😱

I’m not sure how widespread the showings were but we were in Los Angeles at the time! Fathom Events had coordinated several movie theaters to show Ghibli movies in the fall, possibly in preparation for Mary and The Witch’s flower :) while not from Miyazaki himself, your family might enjoy Mary and the Witch’s flower! https://www.fathomevents.com/events/mary-and-the-witchs-flower
