It really sucks that because my government isn't listening to me, i'm less inclined to listen to the news. The more the voices of the many are ignored, the more painful it becomes to hear about the screwed up, selfish, short-sighted decisions men in suits are making on 'my' behalf, and so I turn off the news and try to ignore it all.
I am so pained that I can't bear to listen, and the less I know the less I can speak out about, and they win. We are literally being ignored by the people elected to represent us, and I can feel my political spirit and 'hope for the future' suffering because of it.
