If he is “may be” lost, perhaps he has some other reason for intruding where only the most foolhardy of shems dare to tread? Mio’s ears flatten – if there are indeed darkspawn within Lavellan territory, she’ll be ashamed at having missed them herself. Even a noisy human had managed to take her by surprise… Perhaps she is not so good at this stealth thing.
He quirks an eyebrow at the steady decrease in wariness, belies a nature that easily trusts, a virtue not worth having, surrounded by the unsure. Still, unfortunate or no, naivety works a subtle tenderness from him, and he replicates the relaxed stance.
At the question, however, his mind draws away from speculation, roots firmly back to the task at hand. Gunther eyes the trees, gently tousled by the wind, slats of sunlight peppering the forest floor. Every instinct in his body tells him no, rejects the possibility of evil residing in such a place--but to rely on such instincts is foolish.
