I love how if you romance Cullen, he has two voices. The Commander voice that he uses to talk to his troops and everyone else, and then the soft, totally in love voice he reserves just for you.

"COMMANDER!" One of the soldiers yelled. He bent forward, breathless after stopping.
Cullen's expression hardened, letting go of Kayla's hand while turning. "What is it? What is coming?"
"Forces are approaching over the mountain paths! One of the watchguard posts reports a massive army led by some giant creature. Most of them glow red with what looks like the red lyrium. They carry no banner."
"Warn the others inside the buildings," Cullen commanded as the soldier nodded and ran off. The Commander took a deep breath, yelling above the panicked groups of people. "MEN TO ARMS! WE MUST GET TO THE CIVILIANS TO SAFETY AND HOLD THE GATES!"
Soldiers hurried to their posts, as others began herding the people towards the Chantry building. Warning bells echoed over the forming screams. Kayla just stood there with her eyes wide in fright. An entire army of red lyrium came for them, her and Haven.
