Alana couldn’t help but let out a laugh. “You know what, you’re right. Boys are really stinky aren’t they?” she laughed some more and then shook her head. Spending this time with Lilo truly  made her miss the innocence of being a child again and she wanted to go back to those days, however, she knew that she couldn’t turn back the hands of time, but perhaps she could relieve it through Lilo?

Titling her head to the opposite side, she quirked a brow. “Who’s Nani? She has an awfully pretty name I must say.” Alana noted, before Alana gave in and knelt down beside Lilo. “Okay, I’ll try this!” she laughed.

Lilo smiled as Alana laughed, ''They boys at school are, and they're kinda stupid too,'' she shrugged, ''I prefer hula class to school, dancing is my favourite!'' She looked into the water with a smile as she watched the fish swim by, trying to spot Pudge. ''Nani is my sister. She's older than me, and she can be grumpy sometimes but she doesn't mean it.''

Grinning as her new friend kneeled beside her, she gave Alana the sandwich, ''Look, this one is Pudge!'' she said excitedly as the big orange fish swam and waited close to the surface. Go ahead and hold the sandwich underwater,'' she said, turning to face her with a smile. 

"…my friends need to be punished."

''Yes, though he's kinda weird. And blue.''

”I guess it is,” Lilo replied, with a slight smile, ”I made her myself… I couldn’t afford to buy one like everyone else..”

”Yeah, some girls in my class, but they think I’m weird too. ”

"Oh, you don’t have to listen to them. Kids are mean.

"Y’know, people used to think I was weird too, when I was in school. I think they do, now too, but adults don’t say it as openly."

''Yeah...wait. I'm a kid, does that mean..I'm mean too?''

''I don't think you're weird. Even if you are, I still think you're cool. You can be both!''

Alana took Lilo’s hand and grinned. However, there was part ofher that coulnd’t help but feel badly that the girl only’s friends were her dog and her fish. “I think you would really get along with my friend Will Graham” she explained to Lilo “He loves animals more than most people as well, they keep a promise that people can’t.” she told her, although she figured Lilo was too young to fully understand the concept of that statement, she beleived that she was intelligent enough to get the drift.

"Okay, so I’m looking for a pudgy orange fish." she laughed, as she knelt down beside Lilo, and smiled brightly. She had never been so happy in her life. She was feeling amazing. "Lilo, that’s a sandwhich…" she said, giving the gril a strange look.

''I don't think so, boys are stinky,'' Lilo smiled as she guided Alana onto the rocks. ''But he sounds nice. I like anyone who likes animals,'' she nodded. ''Though Stitch once promised me he'd come and see me hula and he didn't,'' she shrugged, searching in the water for the fat fish.

Raising an eyebrow at the woman's surprise, she nodded, ''Yes. It's a peanut butter sandwich, it's his favourite, I had to go all the way to the store to buy some more peanut butter because Nani forgot,'' she explained, halving the sandwich and handing one half to Alana, beckoning her to kneel down with her hand. ''Come on, I think you should feed him one half! As soon as he comes, I think he knows now, I come around the same time every week.'' 

”Because it’s sunny… Don’t you like the sun?”

"Not when I’m hungover…" 

''What does hungover mean?''

"No, of course not," Rose said, smiling as she sat down on the bed, "I think it’s unique.

"Did someone tell you it was weird?"

''I guess it is,'' Lilo replied, with a slight smile, ''I made her myself... I couldn't afford to buy one like everyone else..''
