as you can see, these are not the prettiest photos, I do not own that pretty stationery everybody in this community seems to have, and this is definetely nowhere near to ‘aesthetic’, but, to celebrate that I hit 2k followers (i started this blog like two months ago wtf?? you are amazing guys!❤️) here goes my first original post.

A part of being an adult is living with regret and not allowing it to consume you. The older you get, the more mistakes you’ve made, opportunities you’ve missed, people you’ve disappointed. And every day you have to remind yourself to be kind and forgiving of yourself. You accept and love the you from the past and understand that it’s all a part of the process. Then you move on and live your best life, knowing now as old as you feel today, you’ll never be this young again.

SHOUT OUT TO EVERYONE WHO STILL TRIES TO GET BACK INTO THE SWING OF THINGS AFTER DEPRESSION HIT THEM HARD. THERE ISN’T ENOUGH RECOGNITION FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO KNOW THAT THEY’RE GOING TO LOSE INTEREST AND MOTIVATION AGAIN BUT PUSH THEMSELVES TO DO STUFF ANYWAYS. YOU ARE FIGHTING A DAILY BATTLE WITH YOUR OWN THOUGHTS AND YOU’RE STILL COMING OUT ON TOP, YOU’RE ALL BRAVE AS FUCK

I had a small pool party with my mates today, which was awesome. I continued writing notes on themes within the novel Jane Eyre, and am continuing to read The Language of Thorns, which is beautiful. 

1/02/18 How is it February already? I missed the last couple of days of january because I’ve been having a really really tough time. I’m glad I didn’t have any deadlines to worry about during it. I’ll make a long post about it. Im so glad I got the essay out of the way and done with, but I know I could have done more! Might rework it over summer? Dissertation possibly? I have a dissertation meeting today….! Emily xxxx

I’m a little sad and sick today, don’t think I can go out tomorrow; I might just stay in and finish all the work I should do.

My go to stationary and my general color scheme: I usually go for pinks and blues. And I love washi tapes. I use the Staedtler Triplus liners for my notes and bullet journal and the small bird booklet to write important dates in. My pencil pouch is from the pound shop in Lincolnshire. These bright colors just motivate me and inspire me so much !

I did some maths and I finally understand matrices! I also made a revision plan which I’m pretty happy with so 2018 has been good so far!
