Yo, here are some step by step of my messy process of the “Oklahoma Lob City“ animation :
1- First pass rough : a very roughy first pass animated straight away especially for the fast parts like dribbles or runs
2- Key tie-down : tried to isolate and clean the keys (circles) on model and breakdowns (triangles) while flipping. Also I pre-cut the timeline to check if the keys work with the timing and put some charts to help me in that mess
3- Last in-betweens : I finish the last inbetweens (the empty frames flashing) by cleaning them directly ( usually, it’s some easy slow-in and slow-out)
4 - Color : Just filling the first masses
5- Last color details\finishing : stripes, logos, number, basket, basketball-net and small light on the ball and then, went to sleep

Yo ! I had the epic chance to work on the short movie of Worlds 2016 of League of Legend with the Studio La Cachette ! It was just so cool to work among all these talented artists ! I worked on the storyboard clean, the in-between (with japanese process from a Genga and charts) and some color shots. I learned so much in the end of this project !
The music is...particular...but the animation is so great, 2D RULES !
