It’s been a long time since I’ve posted and even longer since I posted a progress pic. I’m not sure if I’m even improving that much anymore, but since I’ve been starting stuff this will be a good reference point!
The result of going to the acoustic signing thing!
I'm have the same poster as you, the one with the waves
You’ve got good taste anon. Hokusai’s ‘The Great Wave off Kanagawa’ is beautiful!
Adam!
smiling and laughter and compressed ribs. and wandering around london, abandoning curfews. and adventure!! trying new things!! moral dilemmas and playing with hands and falling asleep on trains home. a little twitch of contentedness when i check my phone in the morning. carrara marble and shock absorbers, and baby’s breath.

Another before and after with Fotosketcher (Seriously it’s really great and free)
Before and after with Fotosketcher, a really neat bit of software that turns screenshots into art.
Saw your post on fuckyeahvitiligo and your eyebrows are rad. Do you have vitiligo, or is your skin/hair just piebald? Either way, so cool!
Aw thanks! I do actually have vitiligo, I was diagnosed with it quite a while ago now. It’s still kind of weird looking back at older photos where I still have all dark brown eyebrows. Thanks again! :)
I feel like I can get away with reblogging my face
Bloop
Bloop to you too anon, would you care to give me some additional clues to your identity? :p (edit: Dhruti :P)
no no i am just small anon come to brighten your day!
Aww thanks, you definitely succeeded! I shall retain my curiosity, but respect your anonymity :P
hey but you're cute
Aww thanks anon, I try! You have my curiosity though, may I ask who you are?
I love your eyebrows! And I hope you love them too
I do indeed! Thank you very much ^_^ I have received a lot of questions about them since it happened, but also a lot of compliments for which I am very grateful.
Some selfies I like, lighting has a purpose!
Yet another sketch (less quick this time) of an experiment, as requested by jeroxy! This setup was used to perform a Grignard reaction with a Grignard reagent, and as they react vigorously with water the reaction was performed under anhydrous conditions. As such the two side openings to the flask were stoppered, and reagents were added by syringe (in theory we were supposed to have a dropping funnel), while the balloon on the right contained nitrogen, and ensured the reaction stayed under anhydrous conditions. At the top of the reflux tube is a CaCl2 guard tube (CaCl2 is white, along with the cotton wool on either end, but I wanted to show it was actually there, hence them being dark grey here!) to prevent water vapour entering by the top of the tube. The arrows indicate where the water flowed into the sides of the condenser tube.
