If, according to Kanye West, one good girl is worth a thousand bitches, and if, according to Lil Wayne, bitches come a dime a dozen, it means that one good girl is worth $8.33 USD (2015).

I need the equation you used for this

It’s your basic equation substitution method. You simplify the second equation from Lil Wayne (the blue one) and plug it into the original equation from Kanye (red one) and solve for the answer (green).

This could be a SAT question

And we are back!  The Birds celebrate EJ's return from Europe with ... nothing new.  That's ok though, it's our 23rd episode and we back to doing it like we do it!  Note that Tawanda is moving!  This means eventually we will have to take a short hiatus to figure out how to record the podcast remotely, but until then, enjoy the same Birdyness you've come to love.

The "Let's Get Into It" segment begins with the Birds discussing rapping as a side hustle.  They then discuss their feelings about Hoop Dreams, Tawanda recounts her days as Beezy the Don and EJ remembers an encounter with an ex basketball player's cousin. The girls then discuss the article where an African blogger lambastes African Americans for appropriating African culture (even though she directs her misplaced anger towards Africans) while discussing if we are getting too sensitive.  The Birds then address fashion activism and if Kerby Jean-Raymond may have utilized his art in an offensive manner in trying to bring to light issues espoused by the Black Lives Matter movement.  Would you be taken aback if you were dating a man who sleeps with a Teddy Bear?  Well 35% of British adults do and so does EJ.  Tawanda proceeds to be a judgy mcjudgerson while EJ stands by her decision to stand by her Teddy. The girls then discuss a blog article by Boyz Books and Booze where she discusses dating down (as in height and weight) and the girls determine if this is something that they are willing to do.

This week's Hip Pop Quiz was a sham, but EJ participated as best as she could.  The theme was Outkast and T asked the most obscure and random questions ... the audience question was a bit easier, though! Remember to submit your answer to the audience question via thewebsite, twitter,  or Facebook for an opportunity to be shouted out on the website and maybe even on the show.

The winners for the "All I Do Is Win" episode were:  Derrick,@WillieBobby, The Edge, Rina, King Kween, @BettyKiss,@AishaMooreMPH, @SheerJilliance, @EssKayGA,@_mothernerdbird, @jadevixn, @zoratonimaya, @litfangirl,@GQuionce, and Ody!

The winners for the "21 and Another One" episode were:  Christia,@classickmateria, @_mothernerdbird, Daniel, Rina, Derrick, andPeter.

Q&A focused on whether or not the girls would date a transman and whether transpersons need to disclose their gender identity.  Listen to get the girls perspective and rejoice in the fact that they finally answered the actual question they were asked.

This week, Queen Yonce and Serena share the honor of being Co-Bad Birds of the week.  Read more about them in our Bad Bird section.

21 And Another One

In a special episode of Birds of a Feather learn more about the Birds and why and how they podcast.

EJ is on a world tour with Muhammed my man (it’s actually her family but who can resist a Tribe lyric?), and so we had to prerecord our episode. Let’s start this recap off by wishing you all a happy and safe Labor Day! We decided to use this opportunity to talk more about ourselves. You’re welcome.  We start off by talking about why we started podcasting.  It was a clear black night, a clear white moon, Tawanda was in the streets trying to consume…Actually none of that is true. Press play to get the real story. We also answer some random tumblr questions about our first memories, the love our lives, and the last texts we received. Tawanda beasted this week’s Kanye west edition of #HipPopQuiz. EJ came through with eight rounds of fire Kanye questions. Don’t forget to try your hand at the audience question. Remember to submit your answer to the audience question via the websitetwitter,  or Facebook for an opportunity to be shouted out on the website and maybe even on the show. Press play and see if you can do better. Since we weren’t going to be around to see who was going to be great this week, we had to award the Bad Bird of the Week to someone who has consistently been dope as fuck. Who else could we rely on but Beyonce? She always flys above the rest. Thank you queen for being there for us when we need you.

All I Do Is Win

The Birds discuss Chris’s chrissing again, driving while, white, laughing while black, and the real life John Q.

It’s episode 21, we’re legal and it’s lit! This week EJ reluctantly joins the #SayNoToChris movement and kicks off the “Let’s Get Into It” segment with Chris Brown’s latest acts of Chrissery. It was difficult for EJ to speak out against Chris’s so we should all circle around her and give her a lot of love an encouragement. Karrechue is finally starting to see the light and one day, one sweet day, EJ wll too. Moving on. We also discussed a crazed member of the #FutureHive who had the privilege of leading LAPD on a car chase, and surrendering only after she had blown out her tire and hit her thot bop to Future and Drake’s “Where You At.”  Compare the treatment of that asshole tothe 11 aunties who were kicked off a Napa Valley wine train just for laughing.  Or, to Steeler’s fans opposition to Michael Vick being hired as a back up quarterback.  All of which is discussed this week. Finally, if you were moved as much as we were by the story of the father who robbed a bank to secure health care for his daughter, please donate to their Go Fund Me. EJ also gives her very first Bird Theory. Listen in on why she thinks T-Pain deserves your standom and respect for his innovative use of autotune.  She was so passionate about her Bird Theory that she didn’t do so well in this week’s #HipPopQuiz.  Congrats to last weeks winners @enigmaticsoulRG, @zoratonimaya, @KSwillis, @Badblackgyal, Anthony, Rina, @Willibobby, and Chris D Great. Remember to submit your answer to the audience question via the websitetwitter,  or Facebook for an opportunity to be shouted out on the website and maybe even on the show. Press play and see if you can do better. This week’s Bad Bird is writer and trans-actvisit Janet MockWatch her epic take down of Mike Fuckabee and you’ll know why she received this week’s honor.

This episode we hop right in discuss a New York pizzeria's racist slice of the month.  How can pizza be racist when it's so delicious and perfect and reliable you ask? Press play and find out.  Madame Tussauds showed themselves to be Madam Tuss-NO!s when they disrespected previous Bad Bird of the Week Nicki Minaj with a oversexualized wax figure. EJ starts off harshly judging Madame Tuss-NO!s's overzealous patrons until Tawanda reminds her of where she came from. EJ quickly changes the subject and the Birds go on to discuss TV's transgender "trend".  EJ also provides a psychological lesson on group think courtesy of her studies at the illustrious school of Men in Black.

Tawanda's holds a Bird Theory that Big Boi's underrated bop "She Said Ok" is a feminist anthem.  Listen to her argument and then add the song to your playlist guilt free.

EJ centered this month's Hip Pop Quiz around New York rappers. She found writing the quiz challenging at first until Tawanda reminded her that damn near every rapper ever is from New York, SMH. Tawanda did her thug thizzle but got tripped up on a Foxy Brown question. That's was to be expected because who the hell knows Foxy Brown songs?! I think it's safe to say no one. Let us know if you agree.  Congrats to last weeks winners Derrick, @Haniday, Basha Dee, @Williebobby, Rina, @GQuince21, Aisha. Remember to submit your answer to the audience question via the website, twitter,  orFacebook for an opportunity to be shouted out on the website and maybe even on the show.

Our Bad Bird of the Week is everyone's favorite fixer, Kerry Washington.  Listen to the Bird's swoon over the fit new mommy and badly paraphrase her Shape magazine interview. There are also new updates about previous Bad Birds, Tracee Ellis Ross and Misty Copeland.

Don't forget to subscribe on iTunes and rate five stars. You should call the Ghostbusters and tell them there's something strange in the neighborhood. Then once they get there tell them there aren't any ghosts, just a couple of Birds who want them to rate and subscribe as well (#IAintAfraidofNoGhost).   Tweet, email, or use the "Submit a Question" tab to ask us a question for our #AskABird segment.

Ain't Nuthin' But A 'G' Thang

Episode 19 began with a story of lottery winner Fontella Marie Holmes who bailed out her current fiance to the tune of nine million dollars.  People are up in arms but Fontella and EJ are in agreement that everyone needs to mind their own business and stop spending someone else's money.  Tawanda then discusses Koko and LamLam, a couple she holds dear to her heart, their meetup at Soulcycle and TMZ being the devil. The Birds also reflect that no man leaves the Kardashian clan unscathed.

EJ decides to swing her vote back to Hillz after she releases her College Affordability plan.  Hilz had her at "refinance" and "low interest rates." The Birds then discuss Black Lives Matters's interruption of political events and Donald Trump stating that if they try it with him, they are going to catch "deez hands".  Neither Bird want Uncle Joe to run for President so Hillz still is their candidate of choice, for now.

Tawanda then waxed poetic about Straight Outta Compton and her love for PYT Oshea Jackson, Jr.  Despite Straight Outta Compton being an amazing film, the Birds lament on the films glossing over of Dr. Dre's brutality against women and the groups misogynistic lyrics.  Tawanda also states her Bird Theory that Eazy-E was murdered by Suge Knight.

This week's HipPopQuiz focused on West Coast rappers much to EJ's delight. She got three out of four answers correct.  Play along with EJ and remember to answer this week's listener question. Congrats to last week's winners Chris D Great, @ellewoods119, JNic, Derrick, and@Burbrix.  Remember to submit your answer to the audience question via the website, twitter,  or Facebook for an opportunity to be shouted out on the website and maybe even on the show.

During Q&A the girls discuss their most successful cuffing season stories with EJ's resulting in her current 4 year long relationship and Tawanda laying out a game plan to the season beginning in May.  We love hearing from you guys so be sure to Tweet, email or use the "Submit a Question" tab to ask us a question for our #AskABird segment.

Our Bad Bird of the Week this Week is Janelle Monáe!  Janelle marched against police brutality, released track Hell You Talmbout, and the Wondaland Records EP "The Eephus."  Read more about her on ourBad Bird of the Week page on the site.

This week's episode is as smooth as a hot comb on nappy ass hair.  Get into it!

All You Gotta Do Is Say Yes

It's episode 18 of the Birds of a Feather podcast, enough episodes to vote! We celebrate this milestone by recapping all of the #RepublicanFuckery that occurred during the GOP debates.  If you don't hear from us ever again it's because Tawanda threw subtle shade at Beyonce and the Beygency took us out, or because EJ insisted on bringing up North Korea's latest example of petty -  their new time zone.  Keep the Birds in your prayers. We move on to less controversial matters and round out the Let's Get Into Segment with a discussion about Christian Louboutin's lipstick line, the #Aaliyah4Mac campaign, and Mariah Carey's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

This week's #HipPopQuiz's theme was down south rappers. Press play and answer questions about Trillville, Lil Wayne, Future, and Andrew 3000 along with Tawanda. Don't forget to submit your answer for the audience question here or on twitter. This week's quiz inspired another Bird Theory from Tawanda about how Lil' Wayne, Gucci Mane, and even our favorite bad gal, Rihanna, benefit from the Law of Averages. Hit us up if you agree (if you don't agree, you're wrong but still feel free to hit us up).  Also, let us know if there are any other artists that fit into the theory.

Gather 'round and listen to our story about our day at the Summer Spirit Festival. While we were disappointed by the karaoke routine of Phony! Phoni! Phone!, we did surprisingly enjoy performances by Floetry, Anthony Hamilton, and Erykah Badu.

Our Bad Bird of the Week is an everyday hero and a modern day Rosa Parks.  Cynthia Jordan  is a woman who was tried during her commute and dared to ask a NYC cabbie "Who you fittin' to try? I bet it aint me ohh bitch it aint me!" (I'm paraphrasing here, press play for a more accurate rundown of the situation).

Trigger Fingers Turn to Twitter Fingers

“Our podcasts are old enough to date Tyga

On the seventeenth episode of the Birds of a Feather podcast, Tawanda and EJ come out of the gate with ignorance.  They remind the audience to take the Listener Survey and jump right into the Let's Get Into It segment of the show.

The Birds immediately lament last week's decision to dub Meek the winner of the Drake v. Meek kissing contest because Drake certainly came out on top with his non-freestyle-diss "Back to Back".  They then discuss Cecil the Lion and the white non-sense that was Jimmy Kimmel crying over Cecil and not crying over Sam Dubose.  Tawanda gives props to the Chicago Moms who have stopped murders in their neighborhoods by patrolling the streets and shouts out a report that confirms what we have always known, #blackdontcrack.  EJ then asks if Ciara should respect Future's disdain for the highly photographed relationship her new boo Russell Wilson has with Baby Future.

RIP Bobbi Kristina.

Congrats to last week's Hip Pop Quiz winners @AndiSachs and Rina!  EJ goes 3-0 this week during the Hip Pop Quiz segment showing her superior knowledge of Drake and Jay-Z lyrics and Tawanda asks a Drake themed question to the the audience.   Remember to submit your answer to the audience question via the website, twitter,  or Facebook for an opportunity to be shouted out on the website and maybe even on the show.

Q&A focused on juice fasts and how Tawanda is not here for them.  As usual, the Birds answer but do not answer the question and Tawanda discusses her failed attempt at doing a juice fast.  You know we love hearing from you guys so be sure to Tweet, email or use the "Submit a Question" tab to ask us a question for our #AskABird segment.

Despite it being a hotly contested award, EJ pressed forward with awarding Drake the Bad Bird of the Week Title.  Drake has had a hell of a week and EJ, shade no shade, wants to shout him out for it.  Drake is our first male Bad Bird and is maybe having the best week ever?

This week was a little bit country, and a little bit rock and roll.  We had fun taping and we know you will have fun listening.  So do it.  Do It. DO IT!!!!!!

Don't forget to subscribe on iTunes and rate five stars. Tell a friend, your mama, and your cousin too. Tweet, email or use the "Submit a Question" tab to ask us a question for our #AskABird segment.
