the mocha post is very cute! my advice would to be trying different textures if you want to draw Black hair. puffy, curly, references really help. the thick chunks don't read like Black textured hair, but the general shapes and braids are great!

Thanks for the advice! I'm still trying to find a comfy way to depict Black hair and all the details & textures in my style, which prefers simpler shapes and strokes. Also, Mocha definitely isn't the best candidate for authentic Black hair, since hers is a little silkier due to mixed heritage, but I figured it'd still be good practice.
