”But this old books could be really interesting, we should even search for some useful and clean them up.” With that said, Itachi light up the first bookshelf and took a pair of big books with the title ‘Dracula’ on it. “And old classic.”
He opened one of them and suddenly something caught his attention, the fingers of his right hand were filled by a thick and dark red liquid. Dry blood.”Pein, stop hesitating, this might interest you.”
Itachi crouched down just to find a small pool of blood on the floor. Maybe this place is not so haunted as the comment says, but at least one murder occurred here, and the strange noises were possibly screams.
The sight of blood sends a chill to the back of his neck. ❝ Are you serious? ❞ It wasn't the first time they had encountered with something like this, but it always caught him by surprise.
'We are here to deal with paranormal episodes, not to get people into jail.' Or see dead bodies, or coffins, or mourn with families, or see people cry. No, not of them. But he was a brave man. He could take it. Plus, discovering mysteries always gave him a feel of superiority; so he anxiously tapped his leg with the lantern, just to turn around and walk upstairs.
❝ Whatever, let's find out. ❞ He wasn't feeling like talking, (okay he really wasn't much of a camera guy), so he let Itachi do the explanation this time.

”Every one of our cases started out as rumors, remember?” But Pein was right, they have been for a while here but nothing strange has happened. The only irregular thing of this library is the dirtiness which gives the place a mysterious aura. But it was expected, since it is an abandoned library.
”We should go to the third floor. Judging by the comment, the guy didn’t hear those sounds at the entrance…” Itachi turned around to see Kisame as well, that boy is always scared but he is really courageous to be always there with the ‘hunters’ holding the camera.
”…Come on, Kisame.” The black haired man waved at the other and stepped forward to the old wood stairs filled by holes.
❝ I hate that you are always right. ❞ He let out a long sigh and followed Itachi to the stairs. It was a mistery if the guy even came here at all. Maybe he was just another troll. It happened a couple of times before, so it wouldn't surprise him.
❝ Don't pee yourself, Kisame. ❞ 'Ha-ha! You made a funny!' No, of course Pein wasn't a funny guy, but when he pulled out a joke, he did felt really good.
He hated that.
❝ You remember those ouija boards? That was something I liked. Not dusty books. ❞ The wood of the rung under his feets was so old he feared it could break; he would fall and break his neck. But it didn't, so he just kept lighting up the part of the next floor that was visible.

Pein directed the lantern's light to Itachi's face, something they both did quite often.
