the ‘i’d marry her in an instant and have a child with her’ kind of alright (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧
It’s ironic.
When I worked in fast food for minimum wage, they would yell at us and lecture us about “stealing” fries and burgers (while we had to throw out TONS of food every day) as though the giant billion-dollar corporations of McDonald’s and Sonic couldn’t afford to give their employees something to eat (while not even paying us a living wage).
Now I work at an upscale restaurant (it’s fancy, like celebrities eat there fairly often) and not only do I make WAY better money but they give us 2 free meals a day (eaten on the clock) and they’re GOOD. Today I got baked cod, spring rolls, rice pilaf, stir fry, and mashed potatoes and eggplant. Oh, and free espresso and juice. From this restaurant owned by a local man who is in no way a billionaire.
Obviously money is not the issue, valuing your employees as people is.
This needs all of the reblogs. All of them.
If Job can literally lose everything and remain entirely devoted to God, still praising His name, surely I can remain faithful through anything life throws my way.
Seriously, when I kept losing my world, watching it shatter and despaired of life God showed me that the reason I felt I couldn’t take anymore was because I made people, possessions, and circumstances my world. When I gave up and made Him my world, the world shook and rumbled but never shattered again. God never promised to give us more than we can handle but He did promise He would be there with us when life became too much. His intent is to show us that we can’t do it because we’re not God. But because He is, He’ll take the brunt of the storms and the agony if we look over and realize that was in His heart to do for you all along. Praise God because He lives!
please don’t cheat on anyone, they will never be the same. Aside from trauma you’ll affect their future relationships and cause them to develop severe trust issues against the people they come in contact with. It’s wrong and it’s evil and it’s not fair when someone looks at you with happiness and brightness in their eyes and you hurt them in ways they’d never hurt you.
