Why it bothers me that Taylor Swift’s “I Knew You Were Trouble” won at the VMA’s and not Lana Del Rey’s “Ride”.

Here’s some similarities:

1) The monologue

2) The desert scenes/theme

3) The white fringe jacket just like the one Lana wore in her Born To Die video

4) The guy starring in I Knew You Were Trouble is Lana’s ex boyfriend.

5) The old car scenes.

6) Party with fireworks in the desert.

7) Bad boys.

8) Same director but Lana came up with the concept for her video which came out 2 months before I Knew You Were Trouble.
