Talking // mommamiaejones

Fiona looked up at the sound of the door opening, smiling softly as she saw Mia walking in. “Hey,” she greeted in return, feeling even more nervous. “Um, I brought you a coffee. Just how you like it” the brunette continued as she walked toward Mia, holding the coffee out to her once she got closer.

Fiona felt incredibly awkward as she stood there in front of her girlfriend, or at least she hoped they were still girlfriends. She was very aware of the fact that they needed to talk about what had happened but, she wasn’t sure where to start. “So, I guess we need to talk this out,” she spoke, internally wincing at how awkward it sounded.

"Thank you." She said softly and took the coffee from her girlfriend. Mia took a sip of the liquid and sighed as it slid down her throat, biting down on her bottom lip. She didn't want it to be awkward between them, but it seemed that there was no avoiding it as she stood in front of the socialite.

Mia nodded when Fiona said that they had to talk it out and she moved to take a seat on one of the chairs near the front of the auditorium. She took another sip of her coffee and then cleared her thaor. "So..we know that someone knows about us. But we don't know who it is and there's nothing we can do really from stopping it from getting out. So...what do we do?"

Hello, I miss you // Mia & Mike

"Fine with me."  He said pressing a kiss to her forehead.  "We’ll make some crafts."  He said as the kids came running into the kitchen, each grabbing seats.  "How does that sound?  We can do some crafts tonight?"  He asked the kids as he scooped some scrambled eggs onto Rocky’s plate and a piece of bacon.  Cutting it up, he tore off half of the cinnamon bun and put it on the edge of Rocky’s plate.  The little boy nodded.  "Yep."  Mike turned to Bella.  "How about you Bella bear?  Crafts?"  The little girl grinned.  "Yes!"  She said happily.  Mike grinned at Mia.  "See, all covered."

She smiled when Mike said that he was fine watching Bela. She hadn't thought that it would be a problem, but it was nice to know that it was't a problem for sure. Mia's heart swelled with love and happiness as her eyes surveyed the three people that she loved more than anything in the world. Mia truly didn't know who she'd be without the three of them in her life. Bella had changed her. And then when she'd met Mike and Rocky, she'd been changed yet again. "Thank you, Mike. And you guys are going to have so much fun when you make crafts!"

When Fiona woke up in the morning, she wasn’t surprised to see Mia was gone. After all, the young mother had said she would leave in time to get Bella ready for school. Fiona understood that completely. The two made plans to meet up before school to talk, and Fiona was nervous. She was hopeful that things would work out between them, especially after Mia came over to check on her last night. 

After she got ready, the socialite made her way to the school stopping off at the dot for a couple of coffees along the way. She knew she needed the caffeine, and she figured she’d pick something up for Mia while she was there. As she walked into the theatre, she was surprised to see she was five minutes early. Taking a seat, she sipped her coffee as she waited for Mia to arrive.

Mia had woken up that morning and for a while had simply stared at her girlfriend. Fiona was beautiful and Mia loved getting to see her in moments when she was completely relaxed and at peace with the world. Rolling out of bed, she smoothed out her clothes and grabbed her things, pressing her lips against Fiona's head before heading home to get both herself and her daughter ready for their day.

When it had been confirmed that Fiona would meet her at school before classes started, Mia began to get nervous. The last thing she wanted for them was to break up. She believed that they were strong enough to get through this, but who knew what Fiona was thinking in that moment. This more affected Fiona than it did Mia and so she knew that the socialite could really be freaking out. Reaching the theater, she smiled slightly at the sight of the girl. "Hi."

"I should thank you for putting up with Rocky."  He said quietly.  "He needs someone like you right now."  Leaning down he kissed her head softly.  "I love you too.  I’m so happy you gave me a chance."  He admitted.  "Because you’re way out of my league."  Grabbing some juice, Mike poured four glasses and placed them on the table.  "Have you spoken to your mom?"  He asked keeping an eye out for the kids.  "Is she okay with this because we can start to move whenever you guys want to start."

She shook her head. "I'm not putting up with him, Mike." She smiled at the kiss to her head but shrugged her shoulders slightly. "I love him, you know that I do. And I'm happy to be there for him." Mia laughed lightly when he said that she was out of his league and pressed her lips against his jaw. "Don't talk like that, babe. I like to think that we're both just pretty perfect for each other." Mia bit down on her bottom lip when he spoke and she rubbed the back of her neck. "I was thinking I'd talk to her tonight. Would you be able to watch Bella for a while?"

Quietly Mike and Bella set the table and he went and picked Rocky off the counter.  ”Why don’t you and Bella go wash up?”  He asked, giving his son a soft kiss.  The little boy nodded and the two of them started to walk to the washroom.  Coming behind Mia, Mike wrapped his arms around her and kissed her neck.  ”Thanks.  For this and for helping with Rocky.”  He whispered, holding her tight against him, their bodies swaying slightly.

When Mike's arms wound around her waist, she leaned back against him and rested her hands against his arms. "Thank you for being so wonderful with Bella. She really loves you." Mia turns just a bit in her boyfriend's arms to press her lips against his jaw. "I love you so much, you know that?" The young mother smiled brightly and then slipped out of his arms to place the food on the table. "When do you think...we should start the moving in process?"

Rocky shrugged.  ”I know.”  He said quietly.  ”But den Daddy and you get sad.”  He looked down at his hands and smoothed his pants before looking up with a small smile.  ”Good, cuz I wan you to stay.”

After a little bit of cuddling, Mike scooped up Bella and walked into the kitchen.  ”Let’s go set the table.”  He whispered to her, sneaking in behind Mia and Rocky to steal plates and forks.

"Oh, baby boy. We only get sad because all we want is for you and Bella to be happy, you know?" Mia kissed the boy's head and then finished cooking up the eggs and bacon. She looked at the timer and realized that there was only a few moments before the cinnamon buns would be ready as well. The young mother noticed Bella and Mike walk in and held back a smile as she finished up breakfast.

Rocky looked up at Mia and shrugged.  ”Yeah.”  He sad quietly, watching her get the food ready.  ”I just sad.”  He sighed kicking his feet gently.  He didn’t really know how to describe what he was feeling, so sad worked.  It covered all of the bases.  ”You stay ‘night too?”  he asked looking at her hopefully.  ”And maybe ‘omorrow?”

She frowned when he said that he was said and turned to look at him fully. "You know you can always talk to me or daddy when you're feeling sad, right?" Mia kissed his forehead and then bit down on her bottom lip when he asked the question. "Yeah, buddy." She didn't want to mention that she was moving in just yet, because there would be a lot of packing and moving things that needed to be done before she and Bella were here full time.

Mike watched as Rocky nodded and helped Mia move everything onto the tray.  He cuddled Bella and moved to the family room, sitting her on his lap.  The little girl rested against his chest and they watched Sponge Bob Squarepants.  The little girl giggled and cuddled against him.  ”Cold?”  She nodded and Mike wrapped a blanket around them.  

"It smells amazing in there."  He called out.  "We can’t wait to eat! And do the dishes!"

Mia grinned happily when the little boy helped her get everything together and she put it in the oven before continuing to finish making breakfast. "You know I love you, right, Tornado?" The young mother asked the little boy, wanting to make sure that he was well aware of the fact that he was so loved by everyone that was in the house in that moment. Hearing her boyfriend call out to the kitchen, she laughed lightly.

"Dat sound good."  Rocky said nodding.  He sat quietly on the counter and watched her start making their breakfast.  "You a good Mommy to Bella."  He said softly, his legs crossed Indian style, his chin resting on his hand.  Mike walked in with Bella on his hip and watched the two of them before pressing a kiss to the top of Bella’s head.  

"I wish you was my Daddy all the time."  Bella whispered, resting her head on his shoulder.  Mike smiled.  "Me too, Bells.  Me too."  He whispered rubbing her back.

She glanced over at him when he spoke and she smiled lightly, moving over to him and pressing a soft kiss against his cheek. "Thank you, baby boy." Mia went back to making their breakfast, pausing for a moment to put some music on, a mix of country music and Disney songs. Mia danced back over to where she had been making everything and then moved to Rocky. "Alright, baby boy, help me put these on the tray?"

Ricky sat up and grinned.  ”Yep.”  He said crawling into her arms and snuggling for a few minutes.  ”Can we make cinmin buns?”  He whispered.  ”Daddy got the dough boy ones in the fridge.”  Climbing off, he smiled and waited for Mia.  Bella cuddled against Mike and closed her eyes.  ”Okay, we sleep for a couple more minutes.”  She said sleepily.

Mia spun around with the little boy in her arms and kissed his cheek. "We can definitely make cinnamon buns, baby boy." She glanced over at the other two still in bed and smiled before walking out of the room. "We'll make cinnamon, eggs, and bacon. How does that sound?" The young mother rubbed his back lightly and then put him down on the counter, making sure that he was seated correctly before she grabbed the things she needed to start breakfast.
