Hey, I’m Hazel: demi/bi, late 20s, loves old stories, new adaptations, and found family tropes. I write sometimes and co-created Rational Creatures.

Did you hear? The whole of Rational Creatures is now released and ready to binge for free on YouTube!

Whether you're interested in a modern twist on Jane Austen's Persuasion or simply looking for a soft, HEA series full of queer people to get you through a long winter night, we think you'll like it.

The whole series takes just under 2 hours to watch (Less than most movies!) and was written and directed by an all-female creative team.

I am absolutely feral for kind, timid John Segundus who is so sensitive to magic that he grows faint whenever it is practiced in the vicinity, but who is constantly barred from his dream of doing any magic of his own.

The Return of English Magic has one job and it is letting this little man talk to flowers and magically repair his frayed sleeves and conjure songbirds and be utterly delighted by every spell.

idk why but there's something so funny about ben entering the scene obsessed with birds in this day and age because my immediate thought (in spite of knowing Ben well) was ! wow ! like Brennan Lee Mulligan known bird lover nerd and Upstanding Guy
