These are some deities I created for a dnd campaign I'm currently running. I wanted to have a few deities in this campaign instead of several pantheons, so my partner and I made this pantheon. Some of these characters, if you are close friends with me, will recognize the names and designs of oc's I have.

Headless Harpy

I got inspired when looking at Greek mythology and just started drawing a random harpy. Loosely based on jar art and the winged victory statue.

I then turned the art into a fake book cover as practice for making book covers in the future maybe? I'm okay at it, I think?

I imagine the story would be about a Harpy trying to find their place in the world. While her sisters continue to steal from traveling merchants, she decides that isn't the life for her and finds other monsters of Greek myth who feel the same about not fitting into where they are at in life. A cyclops, a satyr, a two headed dog, and so on.

Hi everyone. I am actively writing a book involving these three characters.

And yes, they are very strange and unusual looking, but they have changed quite a bit since their early looks and stories (Especially Olivia the fairy goblin and Milo the argopelter, not so much Davey the gorgon pirate)

Milo is now a blacksmith, Olivia is a maid, and Davey is a pirate still.

I have much to fix and redraw and change, this isn't anything official in design more just trying to get a feel for the characters and as I work on the book more things become clearer as to how I want things to play out.

If anyone is interested in knowing more about the book I'd love to share these characters all with you.

America the ugly, America the disgusting

America richest country, America it’s revolting.

To think, to drink, to breath, to speak

To know that you, have failed the youth.

America, it’s a fucking blast, America, for those that die fast, America is for the rich, America all they do is bitch.

The honest immigrants take, the starving workers are lazy, the school shootings are fake, fair wages? Hah that’s crazy.

With health care so damn good, that no one can afford, nice home nice neighborhood, high rents for the landlord. 

poverty stricken cities filled with the working poor, with all the wealthy looking down from the top floor.

The schools train their factory workers, keep them stupid and compliant, no poets, no scientists, just cashiers for their clients.

America the stupid, America the fucked up, American the boiling pot, turned into a cup. 

Full of hopes and dreams but only for those with the money, sipping on sweet honey, while we become their test dummy.

Guns don’t kill, just thoughts and prayers, your children are dead, and no one cares.

Another day another dollar, another child ready for the slaughter, the child in the womb is sacred but the child in the tomb is hated.

Died for our country, died for the comfy, died in the name of our lord, died because he said they should be born

American so lovely, America so fair, America with less rights to freedom than the width of a hair.

America, food is a luxury, America Health care unnecessary, America no houses needed, America it’s been seeded.

With lies that hard work brings great future, when you get called the biggest moocher, just for asking for the bare necessities, three jobs and still can’t pay your utilities.

America the dying, and maybe it could, Rome no longer exists, so America should.

America a hundred to one, America get your gun, for violence must be the answer, to the biggest glaring cancer.

No laws to restrict us, every gun is free, let’s use it to our advantage, and go on a killing spree.

Those with all the money but none of the man power, can’t take us all on atop their lovely tower.

Let’s bring it down and watch them fall, no tower is too big or too tall, we built them, we can break them, we can shake the foundation of this ugly nation.

The rich get richer, but the poor blood gets thicker, for together as one, we can destroy what we begun, for we built their wealth, and it can be undone.

America cares not for its poor and downtrodden, America the ugliest nation forgotten...

I want to try and take more time to do art this year, maybe even hopefully post weekly, I really lack confidence in my own work so please be patient with me as I figure out what I want to do.

I've got no good excuse just really bad at this social media thing, I think my last post/reblog was when I got covid real bad, and then life got in the way, wonderful friends and pets died in my life, but... I intend to fix that, maybe write and post more, we shall see what comes in the new year...
