Everyone, meet Bonnie, the (possibly dwarf) pygmy goat. Her mom rejected her when she was born on Feb.13th so we’ve been bottle feeding her. Her hobbies include jumping, kicking, contemplating the mysterious smells of human shoes, getting carried around until she falls asleep (as shown above), playing with her twin brother Clyde, and screaming

When I was 12 we were gong into town for like school shopping or something. well we drive past tis house and I swear to God I see and small bear in the yard. So I;m freaking out because we need to call the cops because there’s a bear in their yard, and my mom is insisting that there was no bear and we don’t have bears in this part of the state ( we totally do but whatever). turns out It was not a bear but a large stump and yet we still didn’t realize I need glassses!

this was a ride from start to finish

everytime I hear about children of the corn I think about the guy I met at comic con who actually lived in the town they filmed that movie at, and on the farm where they filmed in the corn. he was a teenager at the time and him and his friends would get drunk on moonshine and rustle the corn and let the air out of the tires of the production team’s trailers and shit. and now there’s Wikipedia pages about how the children of the corn set was haunted and they thought they angered god but it was really just drunk hillbillies

I don’t like adding to posts but I also have a funny story like this, so I was watching the movie the Blair witch which takes place in burkettsville maryland, which to me is so funny because that is were my grandfather lives and the town is literally just old people and cows with their main street consisting of a post office. Well anyway he told me that after it came out people were coming in like bus loads to the town to find the witch and my grandfather lives up in the Mountain area and people were up in his property trying to find the witch and it made him angry so he went out and hung up stick people and stacked rocks and it freaked the people out so they started thinking something was out there when really it was my 80 year old Italian grandpa who wanted people out of his woods.

We had ghost hunters come to a historic house in my town to film and if you think every high school kid in town respectfully stayed at home that night instead of going to fuck up that filming you’re dead wrong.

this is comforting, actually, sometimes paranormal things are just a bunch of bored people dicking around in the woods.

My dad is responsible for a goatman sighting. During his last year in high school he and a few friends- one of which was taxidermist’s son and learning the trade (this is important)- decided that instead of spray painting the school or driving a car through the gym or whatever for a senior prank they were going to fuck with people.

They made a costume from a wild goat mount and fucking scooby-dooed a bunch of their friends partying down at the river so you get like three truck loads of redneck seniors drunk off beer they stole from their dads, screaming that they got attacked by the Goatman. Nobody ever told them it was my dad running around shirtless wearing a stuffed goat head and cheap werewolf costume pants he bought at walmart.

Dad says it’s his crowning achievement

ok but can we talk about Kukui?

imagine him as dad-like figure to the younger kids on the island. like all of the trial captains treat him like a dad they never had. like they feel really safe talking to him about their issues and personal life. he lets them go on activities. he acts like a real dad. if you want me to expand my headcanon and tell you about the kids and such i can

(this is going to be a long post because I adore this man, vague spoilers ahead for game and anime) Dad-Kukui is literally the best thing that has ever happened to this franchise in my honest opinion I mean they made him such a loving person and he’s so Genuinely Good™ it’s hard not to see him as the super supportive I’m-Your-Dad-Now character

In the game his interactions with younger characters are really positive and he’s so enthusiastic about them growing and learning on their adventures. He gives Lillie somewhere to call home and is supportive and empathetic when Hau’s upset.

Anime Kukui just further solidifies his Dad-ness

once again he’s more than happy to welcome a kid he barely knows into his home

Image

also cooks for said kid and I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say this is probably a frequent thing he does for his students

look at this. he wanted to take him on a mall outing

Accidentally waste all his food and mess up his house? He doesn’t get mad, he just makes dinner plans for a restaurant instead and makes sure to include his other student too.

He’s such a good dad to kids that aren’t even his and all I want is to see all of them running on his heels like a trail of Duckletts and he lets them all dog pile him and eat cereal in front of his tv on Saturday mornings

imagine all the trial captains coming to him. like he lets them vent to him without interrupting. he lets them stay for a few nights if something bad went down where they live. imagine him lifting up the smaller one for hugs like Sophocles, Acerola, and Lana. imagine him trying to do the kids activities with them. Cooking, art, video games, dancing, fishing, and…to be fair Ilima and Acerola will honestly do anything with that man. but just imagine Dad Kukui

“he lets them stay for a few nights if something bad went down where they live“

I’M IMAGINING IT AND MY HEART HURTS them coming to his house and asking if they can stay with him because they trust him and know they’re safe with him he lets them talk it out when they feel up for it and cry on him if they want to no judgement what-so-ever and he keeps assuring them it’s okay that they’re feeling this way and that he’s there for them

Okay so, Sun and Moon have been out for a couple weeks now, however this is a bit spoilery so if you haven’t played yet, read at your own risk.

So we all know Kukui and Burnett are married. And we all know they, without reserve, offered up their home to Lillie when she ran away from her, highly, abusive mother. And at the end, when Lillie heads off to Kanto to try and get help for said mother, they made it clear that the loft she had lived in for months would always be open, waiting for her to come back.

Lusamine is a shitty mother, and Kukui and Burnett are fucking awesome. Part of me really wants to see something where, (after CPS does their fucking job and takes custody of her kids away from Lusamine legally) Kukui and Burnett adopt Lillie.

Like, I want Lusamine to get better for Lillie’s (oh yeah and her angsty brother’s) sake. But I also want a non typical happy ending for my sweet Z-Powered child.

you don’t understand how badly I wanted a confrontation between Lusamine and Kukui and Burnet

I wanted a drop down, drag out  “So you’re the people pretending to be my daughter’s parents?”  “Apparently no one else was going to.” argument

because Kukui and Burnet love that little girl and nobody will ever convince me they wouldn’t be absolutely savage in the name of protecting her
