Eyes were narrowed into a dangerous glare as the humanoid Phoenix and the jinni were surrounded by undesirable creatures who had messed with the wrong Phoenix.
“Oh believe me, RuYi...” Torru’s voice was low as he stepped forward, sparks of flames were appearing at his finger tips.
“I’m going to show these petty creatures the meaning of burn it down...!”
Flames had surrounded the humanoid-body until there was a large burst and he had transformed into his beast form.
With a loud and powerful cry, the Phoenix charged in and unleashed his flames upon the creatures, hearing them cry and scream in utter pain as they were burned alive by the Phoenix’s flames.

Merina gave the jinni a soft look of consideration. She had heard the rules that RuYi had to strictly follow as a jinni and she could understand that RuYi was much more than what she is. However...
“Maybe it’s because you have to keep a certain balance within this world.” If there was too much or too little of something, it could throw the world’s balance off.
“For example, one your rules specifically state that you cannot resurrect the dead. If you did, it would ruin the nature order and you’ll those who wander the Earth with no means of returning to the Afterlife and would be tragic not only on you, but the user as well.”
Leave to Merina to think of things like magic and the nature order, it was due to her Wicca-nature after all. “So you follow a set of rules for not because of the user... But mostly for you so keep to the nature order. Does that make sense...?”

Has it been six years already? Wow! Where does the time fly?! Well, first of all.. Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! And Happy 6th year Anniversary to @blueeyeddynasty‘s Kaiba and my Merina ship as we love to call it, Flameshipping!
At little bit of backstory now!
The quote is from the “The Gift” thread that me and Haylie had with our two special muses. And in that moment, Merina had compared herself and Kaiba to Cinderella and Prince Charming. Cinderella has always been Merina’s favorite Disney Princess because throughout the adversary she faced, she still had big dreams. Like with Merina, her big dream was become a successful theater actress and just like Cinderella... She didn’t expect to meet her Prince Charming, in the form of Seto Kaiba.
So it was only a matter of time to have these two “cosplay” as Cinderella and Prince Charming. And that’s where the AMAZING @sleepyprinceartz comes in!
She was able to bring this loving commission art to life and as you see, Meri and Kaiba are dressed as Cinderella and Prince Kit (Charming) from the 2015 Disney Live Action of Cinderella.
I’m sooo over the moon with this lovely artwork and so happy that our muses celebrated their sixth anniversary together! Their story is not over yet and I’m sure Haylie and myself are excited to explore more of them! >w<
Baking Christmas Cookies || Open

Merina was humming along to her holiday playlist that she had playing on her speakers as she took down two pans of freshly baked cookies out of the oven. She she hummed in delight at the fresh smell of the sugar cookies shaped in various Christmas forms and placed it on the counter so they could cool.
She was in charge of baking cookies for the annual Christmas party her theater usually held and she wanted to make sure these were the best cookies anyone ever had! It was her own special recipe, so she hoped everyone would like it.
She turned her back for a moment so she could work on putting the next batch of cookies onto another pan. But as she rolled out the dough and began to use a cookie cutter to start getting the cookie shapes, she paused for a moment.
A frown formed on her lips, “Don’t you even dare…!!”
She quickly turned around, grabbed her wooden spoon and smack the offending hand with it.

Shopping for Ornaments || Open
Merina absolutely loved this time of year! Not only did she had Winter Solstice to prepare for, she was going to make something savory and give it to her friends, but also… Christmas. Merina loved Christmas, it was second most favorite holiday besides Valentine’s Day (that had a reason of its own) and she just loved seeing the lights, the snow, the idea of people gathering together to spend time with one another and be joyous and festival… But most of all, Merina loved the decorations.
It why she was here in a shop looking for Christmas ornaments. She wanted to be in charge of decorating the Christmas tree this year and had an idea of what theme she wanted to do this year. She was looking a various ornaments, looking quite wide-eye with glee at all the sparkle and glamour.
It wasn’t until she spotted on particular piece that she smiled with delight. It was lovely blue and silver glittering ornament set and the ideas were pouring into her head. The blonde actress went over to it… And found out it was stocked on a shelf higher than her.
“Oh c’mon…!” Merina huffed. If there was one thing she didn’t like it was when things were pretty much out of her reach. But she wanted that ornament set and by the Goddess, she was going to get it!
With that in mind, she got on to her tipping toes and began to reach out, trying to get finger tip onto the ornament set.
“C’mon….! C’moooon…! Almost there….!”
((So I know I haven’t been on this blog in a while but that’s because I’ve been having a high muse for Atem on his blog. I’ll be sure to reblog his promo post if you all want to follow once I post one of my two opens that I have here for Meri. No worries, folks! I haven’t forgot about Meri and Torru here! I just haven’t had the muse for them! Maybe today would change that, who knows!))
"Hey, Merina, happy birthday!" Mara chirped, holding a nicely wrapped box out to her. "I'm not great at wrapping gifts, so I had the store do it," she twittered.
“Oh Mara, thank you so much!!” Merina squealed with delight when her dear friend presented her with a lovely wrapped gift. Though when the musician told her she had the store wrapped it, she couldn’t help but giggle.
“Oh Mara! You know I would’ve adored either way if you wrapped it! It shows you heart whenever you work on something.”
And she was truthful too, she wanted show her appreciation to her dear friend no matter what way.
So when she looked at the gift, she noticed it was like the box where you get clothes put in. She then grinned brightly knowing Mara having a wonderful sense of fashion.
“Oooooh, I feel you got me something amazing, Mara!”
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY MERI!" Critias cheered at the top of his lungs, holding out a large, plastic container. The lid was clear, revealing a white frosted cake inside. It didn't quite look professional, but it was nice enough! "I didn't know what you'd want, so I tried to make you cake! S'not as pretty as I would have liked, but I hope you'll still like it!"
A sweet laughter came out from Merina when Critias surprised her with a homemade cake for her breath!
“Oh Critias, thank you!” She gently receive the container and opened the lid to look at the cake. Her eyes soften at the frosting and the wonderful aroma that the cake produce.
Who cares if it wasn’t professional? Merina could tell Critias made this from his heart and that’s what made it so special!
“It looks lovely, Critias! And I bet it’s going to taste absolutely delicious!” She then looked up at him. “How about we share it together? I don’t think I’ll be able to finish it in one sitting!”
