Depression? It’s a word we all use, a lot. It’s a heavy word, yet nowadays we use it so lightly, so commonly used to describe when we feel down or low. But feeling down and low, that’s not the same as feeling Depressed. We all feel sad for many different reasons, just the occasional off days or maybe when life’s doesn’t go to plan, but with depression it’s different. Depression is an illness, not a down day or a sad thought. Depression is when everyday is another step, is having to go through a mental list every morning to convinced and/or help you get through the day. Imagine depression as a thick dark cloud that follows you around, it blocks out your sun; you’re abilities to see the positives, to be happy. When you compare that to sadness? It’s just a passing white cloud on a sunny day.
