Bazaart community is closing soon, see you on Instagram
Once upon a time in 2013, we had a dream to create the world’s greatest creative community. We built it as an integral part of our photo editing app Bazaart, and it enabled people to create freely and easily using Bazaart’s exceptional tools and content, as well as share their creations on the app with like minded people, remix each other’s work, and get inspired. The press described it as a combo of Photoshop and Instagram, and we couldn’t have been more proud.
In the six years that have passed, we discovered that while people truly loved Bazaart’s creative tools and content, propelling it to become a leading photo editing and design app, its community was not growing much. Even though while community members were very passionate and became a tightly knit group fostering creativity, there were just not enough of them.
Over time, we realized that the social aspects of Bazaart were not appealing for most users. However, we held onto them through all the app’s iterations and refused to let them go. What can we tell you, it’s really hard to give up on a dream!
Finally, we had to face the music and reached a difficult decision - to retire Bazaart’s community section. We know in our hearts that it’s the right thing, because it will allow us to focus and provide a truly exceptional service to our users. To be an enabler of creativity for everyone is what we have always aspired to be, and that’s what this change will allow us to do even better.
To our lovely community members we would like to say thanks: for sharing your creative work, for engaging with your fellow Bazaartists, and for showing that creativity really has no limits. We hope that you will continue to use Bazaart as your creative tool, and encourage you to share your creations on Instagram and tag @bazaart so that the entire world can enjoy them.
The community section in Bazaart will be retired on June 30th 2019, and the entire social tab including the Featured, Feed and Profile sections will be removed from the app. If you wish to receive an image archive of all the creations you shared on your Bazaart profile, please email us via the “Need Help?” option in the app’s settings or directly to support@bazaart.me and ask for your Bazaart archive.
