This is also a really good reminder that if you’re feeling traumatized by quarantine even though nothing is happening to you personally, there is a reason.
As of August 26, 2020 we’ve lost 179,708.
It’s now a 9-11 disaster every 3 days, not 4, and accelerating.
Now, the death toll as of 10-01-2020 is 207,000.
Our entire nation changed due to 09-11. We went to war, spent trillions to wipe out Al Qaeda, and infringed on Constitutional rights of citizens because it was supposed to be worth it to prevent another such attack.
We are literally doing nothing to stop the deaths of American citizens now. We are not testing at the rate we should, we are not contact tracing, we are not social distancing, and a large percentage of the nation will not wear masks.
Amid a growing number of outbreaks, we are re-opening schools and colleges, and resuming sports events.
Unlike other nations, we have not received financial assistance, and unemployment checks are delayed by months. Meanwhile, the stock market continues to set new records.
This is American Exceptionalism.
