SISTER; jonghyun

“morning!” sodam says brightly from where she’s already snuggled up on the sofa, as jonghyun shuffles blearily into the room, merely offering a grunt in response. they slouch over to the breakfast bar, frowning at the sight of a neatly wrapped present sitting on the worktop. they peek at the label, frown deepening, looking back and forth between their sister and the present.

INSPIRATION; jonghyun/key

jonghyun grunts when his phone rings, uncurling from his foetal position to reach out and grab it. his heart leaps when he sees kibum’s name on the caller id, lying back to get more comfy before answering.

“hey,” he can’t help the huge grin that spreads across his face.

“hi babe,” kibum’s voice is so soft and jonghyun’s smile widens even more. “how are you doing?”

“alright,” jonghyun shrugs. “i’m just in bed, you?”

“i’m fine, i’m just reading this article,” kibum’s tone suddenly changes in a way that makes jonghyun’s eyes narrow in suspicion. “and i was wondering...”

“wondering what?” jonghyun asks carefully, biting his lip and playing with the drawstring of his sweats.

PIERCING; onew/key

“hold my hand?” kibum asks, nibbling anxiously on his lip as he watches the piercer set up their equipment, flapping a hand in jinki’s direction. jinki scoots a little closer and takes his hand: it’s clammy and trembling, which jinki thinks is kind of adorable.

“you’d think someone who already had five ear piercings wouldn’t be quite so nervous about getting a sixth,” jinki muses with a small smile, running his thumb over one of kibum’s heavy rings.

PETIT-DÉJEUNER; onew/key

kibum considers himself morning person. he’s awake at 8am, shuffling sleepily into the kitchen and going about making himself a coffee. he’s yet to memorise the layout of the unfamiliar kitchen, opening and closing three cupboards before finally locating the mugs. he pours hot water over instant coffee granules, stirring it slowly with a spoon; the quiet clinking sounds loud in the silent apartment. he pads over to the window, setting his steaming coffee down on the windowsill and pulling one of the chairs from the mismatching set around the table, careful not to let the legs drag on the wooden floor.

LACE; minho/key

minho sighs as his phone vibrates for the second time in under a minute, pushing it away under a pile of papers so it can’t distract him. it continues to vibrate, however, so he sighs, checking no one’s watching before pulling the phone closer to him and clicking on the notification.
