       A snarl etched itself onto Hinata's expression; jaw set, celadon eyes alight with retribution, and pale fingers pressing crescent moons into his palms as he moved ( near stomped ) across the patio space. Around the not-so-enthused youth milled a summertime party, Hope's Peak students chattering and shouting laughter into the blue sky, and he would nary have said he was at least being entertained by said party before it took an unpleasant turn. Some jerk face dumped their drink on his head. And it wasn't water. No it was something decidedly sugary sweet and not welcome atop his head.

   So, with a glower capable of piercing steel with its heat Hinata set out on a hunt. One that would, hopefully, end with him taking great satisfaction in shoving this person's head in the punch bowl.

   It was only after a few minutes spent peering, hawk-like, around the outdoor space that the mercenary's eyes alighted on a chestnut haired male standing poolside and recognition immediately tied the basic features he could see to the insufferable prick who'd doused him. In hindsight, a closer look would have been best, but he'd not been in the best mindset for patience. In fact it only took him less than another minute or so to slide in close aaaaand–

       Why had he made to ingenious decision to do this again?

   Ah, that's right, no particular reason. Beyond getting onto his feet, out the door, and engaged in something at least halfway interesting in wake of this dreary autumn afternoon. The seasons had marked their change with a biting breeze that swirled fallen leaves at his feet and bloomed roses in his cheeks and it was through the chilly day that he walked to the haunted house that had thrust open its doors not too far away. As soon as October rolled around it seemed all things sp00ky simply couldn't wait another minute to come barreling in. It was actually impressive how quickly this particular attraction had thrown up its paper specters and flash-eyed spiders.

   ...he might have miscalculated, though. Zombies, werewolves, and witches who lurched at any detected motion with a shriek were well and good, but the mercenary had unfortunately never experience a live house of horrors. As in employees garbed alike the horrifying beasts springing and stalking through the halls. He might have punched one. Out of reflex. Whoops.

   In addition to that, the equally reflexive squeal yell he'd loosed was n o t okay. The hand that had previously been curled into a striking fist dropped, fish limp, to his side and he lifted eyes towards the girl likely looking on with any number of emotions. None of them positive.  ❝ ...tell no one of this. ❞
