          after stacking the discs in the same order caydence just sorted            them, maddox pulled out the little mermaid’s disc, slipping it into           the player, then grabbed the remote and crawled back onto the            bed, holding his arms out for caydence to come to his lap.”c’mere           princess.”

          princess. oh, how he loves that name. it's just, well, cute. yeah.           and it makes him feel welcomed, like he has made his daddy           happy enough to gain a little pet name. crawling over to him,           he's sitting right down in his lap, snuggling into his chest and           kissing at his neck just a little. "thank you for staying home."

          gently lowering caydence onto the bed after pushing into their           room, maddox bends down at the tv set, pulling out a few dvds            and spreading them on the bed. “which one first?” he questions           the other, acting as if caydence was some sort of expert on which           movie needs to be watched before the others.

          sticking his tongue out in concentration, he's cooing and finally           picking out 'the little mermaid', his all time favorite movie! "this           one! then this one, then this one." he speaks with a pep in his           voice, hands folded properly in his lap and waiting for daddy           to come snuggle him.

          holy fucking shit this boy was adorable. how could maddox say           no to him? it’d be like denying a child some candy — completely           and totally inhumane. so without saying anything, maddox ducks           his head, grips at caydence’s bum and pulls him onto his hips,           carrying the smaller boy through the apartment with ease. “then           i guess i’m staying home today.”

          the biggest smile on his face, he's snuggling into the boys neck           and kissing along his jawline in complete bliss, so happy that he           gets to spend the day with daddy! "that means we can cuddle all           day and watch disney movies! just like i do to pass the time when           you're at work!"

          maddox chuckles, pressing his lips into caydence’s hair and            wrapping his arms tightly around the other’s shoulders. and            now he was seriously considering staying home, hanging up           his jacket, and spending the whole day with caydence. he can           take a day off, right? it’s not like damien would get too upset           considering maddox is the main benefactor of the gang right           now. “is that what you want? want daddy to stay home with            you?”

          giving him a big nod, he's jumping up and down excitedly, shorts           only riding up his bum that much more and giggling as he stands           so much shorter than maddox, big blue eyes looking to him with           some sort of hope that he's being completely serious about staying           home because it means cuddles and kisses!

          his large hands grip at caydence’s hips, lips hovering against           the younger’s for a moments after the end of the kiss. maddox           hasn’t told him otherwise so he assumes caydence thinks he            works in an office, maybe with cubicles or a secretary. little           does he know. but maddox didn’t want to reveal his real life,           choosing instead to just nod and smile. “thank you princess.           but i only work hard so i can get you nice things.” 

          "but you don't need me to get me anything, daddy. i like what           i have right now. i'm happy!" he coos and nuzzles into his chest,           nosing at it and giggling as he's immediately brought into the           warmth, chirping at how happy he truly is. "just want you to stay           home with me all day." he shrugs and just stays as close as possible.
