sakura is a main character; the leading female of this series. that didn’t change when they promoted ‘fanservice-hime’ to the m/c’s housewife. (i’m pissed and this is taxing, let me rant. 😬)

this isn’t about ships, these are supposed to be naruto’s bonds (that’s the context of this new promotional exploit). so where the fuck is his teammate; the girl more of a best friend to him than anyone else in this picture par sasuke (of course with gaara following and shikamaru too)? i mean, i know it seems to just be their generation but iruka, jiraiya, konohamaru?

naruto did not have a significant canon (i.e. manga) relationship with hinata enough to justify her presence in this promotional content as any kind of significant “bond” in his life outside of them being thrown together for the final chapter (+ their interview-confirmed shoehorned justification moment bonding over neji’s death for coupling rationale) and, of course, s/p’s filler. of course she was a comrade but besides them now being together, there are plenty of others that should have had a place here.

but ultimately, the sakura erasure and hinata obtrusion is beyond a joke and becoming painfully, laughably worse. it’s infuriating and risible at the same time! there’re so many japanese, korean and english fans alike on twitter asking where the hell sakura is in this… where the heroine is; the girl that this featured character – whom we’re highlighting the bonds of – had feelings for across 699 chapters and 15 years. no, it’s not about “narusaku” in a shipping-sense; it’s about naruto and sakura, and surely a role of that significance would warrant being considered a vital part of his life and, as such, this project?

You hear all these “you’re not a real fan unless” and it lists a hundred things, but I met a dude today who saw my Deadpool pin and asked what my favorite story arc was, and I explained that while I loved Deadpool, I was new to Marvel (I only really got into it a year and a half ago) and hadn’t been able to find a lot of the comics. Instead of making a face or a derogatory comment, he just offered to send me all the stuff he had. That is a true fan.

I told the guy at the comic shop when I went in for Black Widow that I’d seen a few Harley Quinn panels on Tumblr and thought it looked badass but didn’t know where to start because my entire involvement in DC fandom was watching the Batman cartoon as a kid. This guy sitting at one of the tables playing Yu-Gi-Oh, wearing a comic shirt and carrying a definitely-hardcore-fan amount of swag, spins around and goes “dude! You’ve never read DC? Check out the back issues wall. They’ve got all kinds of Harley Quinn.” He then proceeded to explain how “New 52″ was a spinoff, and had some split opinions in the fandom, but either continuity is good as long as you pick one and stay with it so you don’t get mixed on what’s going on. 

True fans love to see other people loving the stuff they love.

See how easy it is to be “that cool person who helped me get into X” instead of “that asshole who made me feel bad for not knowing everything about X”?

This movie is way too under appreciated in my opinion… The fandom is practically non-existent…

And I don’t understand why? The plot was fantastic.

All of the characters were lovable.

There was no one that you absolutely could not stand.

The “bad guy” was actually the main character, Kenai. Which was an interesting twist for Disney.

But by building a bond with this young cub (Koda), and seeing the world through the eyes of a bear, he realized that he (as a man) had been the monster… Not bears.

I mean, talk about character development…

Koda: Those monsters are really scary… Especially with their sticks.

And for me, this scene right here was one of my most emotional Disney moments. You can’t even here Kenai telling the actual story… But you can see their facial expressions and you can just feel it. You know exactly what he’s saying to Koda.

Kenai: Well, I have a story to tell you.

Koda: Really? What’s it about?

Kenai: Well, it’s kind of about a man… and kind of about a bear. But mostly, it’s about a monster.

… Koda… I did something very wrong.

Okay, but on a lighter note?

The animation was incredible.

Amazing.

It was a powerful movie about brotherly love, guidance, and responsibility, and it truly is one of my favorite Disney movies ever.

Not to mention the soundtrack is amazing. You can’t go wrong with Phil Collins.

The fandom will never be huge, but the movie definitely deserves more credit. If you haven’t watched it, I highly recommend it.

I want to remind everyone that this movie is where the “quit telling everyone I’m dead” “Sometimes I can still hear his voice” joke came from.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the fact that people are starting to notice Pentagon but Pentagon isn’t only E'Dawn and his relationship with Hyuna.

I’m seeing a hashtag go around saying to bring Hyojong back and Cube is canceled and whatnot when the reason he was suspended from activities is to protect him from delusional kfans, not bc he was dating bc Cube does not ban dating.

Everyone is talking about Hyojong and how they want him back yet no one gives a fuck about Yanan even though he has health problems at the moment. I haven’t seen a single ‘get better, Yanan!’ in their official Twitter but it is full of NON-UNIS demanding Cube to bring Hyojong back.

Universe understand what Pentagon is going through. We know that we have to wait. We know that they will come back as 10 when the situation calms down and when Yanan gets better, but people keep making hashtags when they don’t even know anything. And these people who keep making hashtags can’t even name the 10 members, have just listened to Shine, and couldn’t recognize Hyojong without blonde hair. Y'all need to step down and let our fandom be, we get that you’re trying to help us but you are NOT, you are blowing things out of proportion when uni are just waiting for this to die down.

I saw that Fox News headline- most of us are as baffled and pissed as you are.

The other day my mom said something that i found really insulting to the 2d animation movies, she said that they stopped doing those because they were no longer appealing to the audience and that they were supposed to be discontinued, and i just thought how bullshit of an argument that is.

Comparing 2d animation with 3d and saying one is superior is like saying that digital art is better than traditional art, better than the fucking Mona Lisa, The creation of Adam, in fact, is a pretty ignorant comparation to do because one does not suprass the other, but new techniques are getting invented and we invest in those more.

Is just another way of animation, in fact, the shitty move all those studios did by closing their 2d animation studios eas pointless and it´s gonna cost them greatly, because someday people are gonna want to go back to the 2d animation and studios like Disney or Dreamworks will be too scared to do that, that will be the day that other studios will take upon them and give us what we want.

2D animation has the most beautiful animation i´ve ever seen, there´s something in it that i can´t explain that makes a big difference from watching cgi, and what i think would make a great combination is the great amount of details that you see in CGI and 3D movies into 2D techniques so you could expect to see shit like this
