Fight for Faron

Rafael is one of the oldest vampires in Ossila. There are a few older than him, but not many. He's also the one with the bloodiest history. He could put Vlad the Impaler to shame.

Raf's name is Eztli. Just Eztli. He was a poor boy on the streets of the Aztec capital, Tenochtitlan. He was captured and prepared for sacrifice. A woman had come to Tenochtitlan claiming to be Tlazolteotl. And she demanded sacrifice. Eztli was sent up to her temple and the woman was infatuated. Eztli thought for sure he was going to die when she attacked him. Went straight for his neck. This woman wasn't Tlazolteotl, but I powerful vampiress. 

For a while Eztli was kept as her manservant. She was a flighty creature and disappeared on him one day. By this time Eztli had a hang on being a vampire, on survival, he was 300 years old. 

At this point the English were starting to come over. Eztli realized he didn't want anything to do with what was going to happen, the signs were everywhere. So he entered an enchanted slumber

After sleeping for nigh on 200 years, Eztli awoke to a war. He was pissed. All Eztli wanted was to be a poor boy on the streets of Tenochtitlan again. But right there beneath him was a feud with explosions and screams. He had only just seen guns before entering his slumber. Eztli attacked. Wiping both sides out. After that Eztli became a blood thirsty creature. He was at the major of site of every war. 

Rafael was his chosen name. The world was getting to a point where Eztli stood out too much. So now Rafael lives on the outskirts of Faron with a hoard of blood slaves.

Rafael gets off on power. Whether he's controlling his blood slaves or sucking the life out of everyone in the battlefield, he loves it. Do your best to steer clear of Raf. He's manipulative to a t. Even if you do your best to avoid him, you might end up in his his line of sight.

Aoife is the youngest of the Wulfram family and third-in-command of the pack. It's not the most prestigious position possible, but Aoife doesn't mind. She never really fit into the whole pack mentality anyways.

What's always attracted Aoife are the Guides. Everything about them. How they help people, how they know Faron Forest like the backs of their hands. Nature. along with the forest, have always been some of Aoife's favorite things. As a child, Aoife was always getting into trouble with her parents for sneaking off into the forest unsupervised. Everyone knows the Faron Forest is a dangerous place if you don't know what you're doing, but how was Aoife ever supposed to figure out the forest if she wasn't allowed in there?

As the youngest of the Wulfram siblings, Aoife isn't set out for much. She isn't expected to have children for the future of the pack, she isn't expected to be ready in case Kane dies before he has children. She isn't even expected to get married. All this is fine with Aoife, she just wants to lead a peaceful life.

Aoife has always been the most rebellious of the Wulfram children. Never listening to her parents, always getting into trouble or getting lost. Still, like the rest of her family, she's laid back and kind. Always prepared to take a deep breath  and think before any big decision is set in stone.

Adan is the second Wulfram child, and therefore set to inherit nothing except the position of second-in-command for the Wulfram pack. 

Adan, much like the rest of the Wulfram family are thinkers over someone who might take action. Adan in particular prefers the peaceful side. This makes good for being the second-in-command, thinking is always more important than action when it comes to diplomacy and decision making.

Adan is still living in the Wulfram house, and will until he finds a suitable mate to bare children with. As of right now, Adan isn't interested in anything like that. He likes sitting in the house, going through the recorded history of previous leaders of the pack, and doing his best to make sure they all survive

Adan is a kind being at heart. He's always nice and thoughtful. Of course, survival is important, and Adan will do what it takes to survive, but he'll take as few people down as possible as long as long as he's surviving.

A few people have been following us lately. Why don't you come over and apply?

Marella grew up in the same nomadic village as Lynn Cosima. They were childhood friends, running together with all the other children in the village. The two grew very close, and were even romantically involved. Once Lynn went off to university, they grew apart. Marella and Lynn remain friends, but it still aches when Marella sees her around, especially considering how Lynn had disappeared for four years.

Marella still lives in the village. They have a unique eco-system that requires help from everyone living there. So Marella does what she can to help them stay afloat. One of her favorite things is to go hunting alone. The peace is nice, the concentration and silence. It speaks to her in a way. Plus, the village only kills what they need, relying mostly on vegetables and fruits. The meat is for special occasions.

Marella is happy with her life. Alone time when she needs it, but a bustling village that's like a family when she need not be alone. 

Marella is an extrovert who draws energy from being alone. Walking through the square of her village brings joy. Watching everyone set up shop. Still, hunting alone is therapeutic. Marella likes to appear strong but holds onto her relationships longer than healthy.

Kane Wulfram is the leader of the Wulfram wolfpack of Faron. It has gone to the first son of the Wolfram family for generations, and it will for generations to come. Kane is content in his position, and it does not appear that anyone is going to challenge him. 

Kane knows that Sophia is tough and that her sister is important. He's been courting her for ages, both in hopes of drawing her into his pack and out of the Darcy pack, and of getting her powerful sister on his side. Not to mention she was beautiful and strong, who better the bare the next line of Wulfram children.

Kane lives in a lovely rather large house that's been in his family for generations. There's a meeting room big enough to fit the entire pack . He loves his house, Kane feels it has personality. He also feels that he draws much of his strength and wisdom from sitting in the house and meditating

Kane and his pack are a lot more laid back than the Darcy pack. Kane practices meditation and recommends that the rest of his pack does as well. He is dedicated and treats his pack like family. Despite this, Kane can be a bit disconnected at times, and appears a lot more menacing than he is. All he wants is to have a good time and keep his pack happy.

Seth is a thug through and through. He grew up in a poor home and never wanted his little sister to want for more. So? Seth joins a gang. Protection, prestige. It works out perfectly. Unfortunately this led Seth down a dark path. 

He's been in trouble with the law a few times, but that's mostly from his prankster nature. Nothing too serious. He's usually used for muscle anyways. Or an errand boy.

No one really takes Seth seriously. Especially when they hear his alternate form is a deer. It works out better in his favor. While in his alternate form, his antlers were menacing. Seth even got a tattoo on his head to represent them. Plus, it really brings his thug look out. 

Recently Seth has been taken out of the gang business and into personal muscle. Devon Kim, a local black magic dealer, has hired Seth to be his body guard. He lives in the apartment next to him, and watches silently over any and all deals made.

Seth fell to comedy to deal with his rough lifestyle. He's used to being the butt of many of his crowd's jokes. They say he's too soft and goofy. Which might be true on the outside, but Seth knows when to get to business, Not to mention, the goofy facade really throws people off.

Devangi comes from a huge family of Bengal tiger shifters. She grew up with most of her family in a town in Northeast Ossila. The majority of her family was male - she had five brothers, and her father had three brothers, each of whom only had sons, except for one, who had a daughter, Vamika. Vamika was 12 years younger than Devangi, but despite the age difference, the two were always close growing up, as the only girls in a family full of boys. Devangi loved having someone to help out and give advice, and Vamika looked up to Devangi.

When she was 18, Devangi left her family and moved to Faron to study medicine at the University of Ossila, first living on-campus but eventually renting her own two-bedroom apartment. After she graduated, she quickly got hired to be the Celebrindals as their personal healer. She still tries to visit her family as often as possible and keep in contact, but as time passed, she grew more and more distant from them. A few years into her stay in Faron, her cousin Vamika decided to leave Ossila to travel the world. Devangi was incredibly worried for her, especially since she didn't do much to try to stay in touch. A year and a half ago, Vamika finally came back to Ossila, but she was distant and still didn't contact her much.

Recently, Vamika contacted her and told her she was considering moving to Faron. Happy to finally have her cousin fully back and sensing how much Vamika needed to get away from their hometown, Devangi offered her the spare bedroom at her apartment right away, and Vamika accepted. Devangi's delighted to have her favorite cousin so close to her again.

Devangi's usually rather cheerful and friendly. She's very mature, and can be a bit goofy at times. However, if she feels like someone's wronged or threatened her or a loved one, she can become quite vicious protecting them.

Born the youngest and one of the only female members of a large family of Bengal tiger shifters, Vamika grew up somewhat sheltered. The relative who was closest to her in age was five years older than her, and the only other female in her generation was her cousin, Devangi, who was twelve years older than her. As a result, she often felt a bit left out. She wasn't allowed to do the same things as her cousins and brothers did and got told that she could do them when she was older - but when she reached the age her relatives were when they got to do them, the age got higher. 

She grew up very close to Devangi, despite their age difference, and looked up to her a lot. When she was a young child, she always said she wanted to be exactly like Devangi. She was always able to go to her with her problems, and she always gave her great advice.

By the time Vamika turned eighteen, she'd grown tired of the protectiveness of her family and her sheltered life. Instead of going to college or staying home, she rebelled and decided to travel the world. She packed her belongings and left Ossila after very little planning, barely even telling her family good-bye before she left. For two and a half years, she travelled all around the world, using both human and nonhuman ways of travel and sleeping in cheap hotel rooms, hostels, and sometimes even the streets. She never stayed more than a few months in each place, doing whatever job she could find to pay for food and shelter, before moving on to the next place. She'd been struggling for the last few months of her trip, but what finally sent her home was when she almost got caught by poachers while in tiger form during her stay in Bhutan.

After arriving back to her hometown in Ossila, Vamika stayed with her family in a while, but eventually she just couldn't do it anymore. It felt suffocating- she just had to get away. She contacted her cousin, Devangi, who lived in Faron, and asked if she could moved in with her there. Devangi greeted her with open arms, and after a few weeks of staying there she helped Vamika get a job at Café Noir. Vamika's been working in Café Noir for the past few months, and is considering her possibilities for going to the University of Ossila next term. She doesn't have much of her life figured out yet, but she's getting there.

Cheerful, warm and talkative, Vamika's favorite things to do are getting to know new people and making people laugh. It's hard not to like her. However, she can be irresponsible and has had a tendency to push people away when things get difficult, and if she percieves someone to be threatening herself or someone close to her, she will stop at nothing to stop them.

Mitch grew up moving between Faron and London, England. His mother's and father's homes respectively. Even in the magical world, not everything works out. Mitch still loves his parents, and they love him. 

One time during a stint in London, Mitch found himself getting into photography. It was his way of expressing himself. Mitch had never been a very open person, and he felt that no one really understood him, that explaining his problems and feelings would make people look at him weirdly, so instead, he channeled it all through his art.

Mitch found he liked Faron a lot more than london, so he's set up a small business as a photographer for weddings and such. Sometimes he'll go to London and visit his friends and family.

Mitch can be angry, pessimistic, and downright mean sometimes, but that's just because photography hasn't been helping as much as usual recently. He feels empty and pointlessly temperamental. He's hoping to find the answer to calming down in Faron.

Aiden lived in the capital of Ossila until the age of 12. It was such a busy place. Constant noise and clutter. Living in Faron has certainly been different. Aiden finds he prefers the peace, not to mention the closer friendships you can find in Faron.

Both of Aiden's parents had been members of the royal guard until they got transferred. Most of the Yaron family's guards had fallen ill or been forced to move away. So, Aiden moved with his parents. When the last remaining member of the Yaron family died, they were left without a job.

A few months later and things are looking up. Aiden attended and graduated from the University of Faron. His father and mother are co-writing a book about working as a royal guard. They've saved enough money to take a break from working. Now Aiden is searching for a job and an apartment. 

Aiden's specialty is care of magical creatures. He has a thing with caring for them, griffins and unicorns, chimera and basilisks, Aiden knows what he's about. He's attempting to get a job at one of the two animal clinics in town, and it's looking good.

Aiden is a true sweetheart. He wouldn't dare think about hurting someone else, and he'll help any stranger he sees on the streets. Doesn't matter if it's helping someone carry their groceries in or getting the ever so cliche kitten out of the tree it's stuck in.

The High Goddess is no longer with us…

Left in her wake is nothing but chaos; the four High Houses of Palandri are engulfed in a brutal war spanning generations, with no regard for who or what gets crushed in their battle for the Goddess’ throne.

Without a ruler, the land is in disorder. Corruption runs deep within the cities’ authorities, bands of highwaymen patrol every road, the wild tribes are rebelling against the reign of men, and deep beneath the mountains, dark forces are awakening which is unleashed, no one can hope to control.

The time for resolution is nearing…

Will the races band together for peace, or tear at each other until only one is left standing?

Who will take the throne and claim the crown?

What will become of the land of Palandri?

Devon lives in an apartment near the Faron university. It's a bit dingy, but he's able to live by himself. He attends the college, mostly taking different magic courses. He's getting his degree in the general study of magic with a focus on potion making.

Which brings us to our next topic. Devon deals potions. There are a few potions and magics throughout Ossila that are banned, Devon knows how to make most of those and deals them to people who know how to find him, and know his password.

Through his work dealing magic, Devon has come into contact with Cassandra Mockinglove quite a lot. They may not be friends, more like business associates. They work together every once in a while.

Devon is very much the loner type. He only has to deal with people when doing business or when at school. Unfortunately that is called for more often than not. When he needs a change of setting, Devon might go to the Cafe Noir and read one of their many books while sipping on a cup of coffee.
