The stories come as they do. Some of them are unexpected, some are what they are. Among all of them, sometimes, a story appears that is the result of a question posed to me, here on the Tale or elsewhere. Some of those questions are requests, some are thoughtful wonderings, and sometimes the question brings about a story that might not be the answer I thought it was going to be. Answers By…

Believe In Yourself–Part III by TeraS

It’s the first Monday in 2022 and we return to Regina’s story once more. Watching the new drew gooden video with the "$5 a month" earbuds that you can't own no matter how much you pay and they'll remotely deactivate the earbuds if you stop paying for the subscription and I think we literally need to kill companies before they start having subscription models for physical items they can deactivate

In unequivocal terms, the UK is a police state. We have just lost our right to protest (if they are deemed ‘annoying’ - which will be interpreted to be any protest the government doesn’t like). This means anyone in the UK might face prison for exercising our right to protest.

Please, please I’m begging non UK folks- to simply know this.

If the right to protest was lost in the US it’d be all over the internet. But nobody is here for UK folks.

This is just as trans people and gay people and marginalised races and poor people are being hit with economic and social harm and are more likely to protest.

Know about us- make sure the UK government is shamed for what it is doing. In the meantime, the UK citizens have some violence to plan.

The whole "oh fast food workers are quitting because they aren't paid enough" really ignores that fast food work is the most dogshit job you can have. Like McDonalds in Aus pays above minimum wage in a lot of places and still struggles for good staff because it's just an awful place to work. People want living wages but they also want clear scheduling, more rights in the workplace, better equipment and managers that aren't weird sexist boomers.
