Hey guys, Sam here! Some of you may remember me as ask-an-mra-anything or socialjusticesummoner, and I left my abusive marriage about one and a half years ago. I’m a single parent now, so life has been tough, but I’ve managed so far. Life has been tough, but good. I’m free and happy for the first time in a very long time.

Lately, however, I’ve been struggling. My mental health has declined again for various reasons (but I’m still far better than I was, don’t worry!), and I incurred a lot of unexpected expenses from the California wildfires. I was displaced from my home, had to seek medical attention, and missed a lot of work (which was unpaid)

And this doesn’t even include the money I have to spend to obtain a legal divorce from my abuser.

Well I hate to reblog this twice in a row, but I just had another emergency come up, and I’m about to be out a lot of money again :/ if anyone could reblog this or donate, I would appreciate it so much

So here’s my emergency. I had two of my tires get messed up, at least one of them from driving through a construction zone. The other I have no idea what happened, but it could have happened at the same time. Either way, I had to have them replaced.

And unfortunately the only tires available were these :/ I am hoping to get reimbursed for at least one of the tires by filling a claim with the state, but that’s going to take time if they even accept my claim at all :(

If anyone could donate or reblog, I would appreciate it so much. I’m so frustrated, and this took my bank account really low

I am the sole income of a family of 5. My parents are making the transition to government assistance but the process is slow and full of hurdles. I also take care of my younger siblings both of which have asthma.

I work retail and keeping up with everything is incredibly difficult. At the moment we are out of food and I am out of money for the bus to and from work. My mom and sister require monthly medications and are running low. I just spent my last dollar on pads from dollar tree. I haven’t eaten since yesterday afternoon and I work 10 hour shifts.
