This part gets me every time. Look at Elsa when she turns around. The absolute panic. She’s pleading with Anna to leave. To get as far away from her as possible. Because she thinks her very being puts Anna in danger.

Which is just heartbreaking because if Elsa only realized Anna actually felt safest when they were together she may have been able to control her powers.

I bet if their parents didn’t separate them as kids Elsa would have been so close with Anna, and she would have been happier, making her powers easier to control. Their parents really screwed up by totally isolating her, I think it just made it worse.

excuse me? her parents didn’t make her stay away from Anna, that was her choice. she was so scared that she was going to hurt her beloved sister again she stayed away. She’s doing that here she is scared that something is going to happen to Anna and it will be all her fault, so when Hans tells her that it’s all her fault for Anna’s death all the fear disappears and it is fill with pain and disappointment, that no matter how hard she tried to stay away she still hurt Anna. She loved her sister so much she shut her out, that must have been so hard considering how much she LOVES Anna.

Actually in the Art of Frozen book it says that their parents forbid her from seeing Anna, you can see that when 5 year old Anna goes to see Elsa and she sees her look at her sadly and close the door, the entire situation is very in the dark but the parents do need to take some responsibility for it, not all, but as a kid if your parents are panicking then so will you, they showed more fear than Elsa did and then completely shut down, we don’t know enough about it to really see how they handled it, but they do need to take some blame

its all just really unfortunate because no one knew what to do, they probably did think they were doing what was best, panic is a very powerful thing

wish we knew more about their past

"Your majesty, you don't understand, my younger sister, the princess of Arendelle, has been kidnapped; she has been kidnapped by your younger brother Hans!" Elsa said pained. She continued, "We've had to deal with Hans before, for we banished him back here to your land."

Elsa crossed her arms over her chest and held tightly. She took quick deep breaths; sure she was not going to lose her cool in front of this royal stranger.

♢} --- Noticing the Queen's discomfort, Fred gave a nod to show that he had heard and understood.  "Yes, I've heard of that," he confirmed.  A thoughtful hum rumbled from him, and he thoughtfully twirled his ginger beard around his finger in thought.  As much as he hated to admit it, he had little to no idea as to where his brother would run off to for refuge.

"I suppose the first thing we'll have to do is search the kingdom for him," the prince finally decided, giving a nod.  "He's probably staying somewhere he knows very well, so it's unlikely he'll go out of the kingdom."  It was a start, anyway.

“Excuse me, I think you dropped something.” -Her sweet chimed as her held out the wallet he just dropped.-

With a blink, Fred turned around at the statement.  His eyes fell on the wallet in the girl’s hands.  ”Oh!  I suppose I did.  Thanks.”  With a grateful smile, he took the wallet from the girl.  ”It’s good that you’ve returned this to me, I don’t know what I’d do without it.  Starve, possibly!”

"Wow, I can’t believe it’s lasted this long." -She smiled.- "They don’t make them like they used to, I’ve been there a few times. It’s one of the shops I always like to visit." -She explained with a sweet smile before something clicked in her head.- "You’ve been there?" -She tilted her head.-

"Oh, yes!"  Fred nodded, eager to speak on the topic of his favorite place to travel.  "Seven times, actually.  It's like my home away from home.  When I have the money, I'm hoping to move there," he explained.  It was a bit impractical, but he had a large number of people he knew in the country, so he assumed that somehow or other, he'd be able to move smoothly from his home town to Russia.

"Where did you hide it?!"

"Hmm?"  Fredbjorn turned around, pulling the best innocent look that he could muster.  "Hide what?" the prince asked as he pushed the box farther into his closet with his foot.

-She raised an eyebrow at him but blushed slightly knowing she’d have to say this out load, she just hoped no one outside the room could hear her.- “The geisha romance novels, only you know I have them and read them.” -She pouted slightly as her blushing deepened. She often presented herself as a woman that wasn’t interested in romancy fansy stuff when secretly she was a romantic and enjoyed novels on romance, so long as it had action and mystery mix in too.-

Fred hummed thoughtfully, twirling his ginger beard on his finger to purposefully draw the moment.  "That might or might not ring a bell," he mused.  The man broke into a grin, and his mischievous glint in his eye disappeared.  "I'm supposing you mean a book like...this?"

With this, he presented one of the titles from the box behind him.  He handed it over to her before she could say anything.  It was rare that he could tease anyone for too long, since he was too tender-hearted for such a thing.

humble-southernisles-prince is wandering the Palace

She beamed, “Great! I kinda really like giving tours.” She laughed and brought her knees up, wings fluttering wildly, “Oh, and before I forget, I’ll have to carry you around; if it’s alright. Though I’ve never carried a full grown man before…” Tooth hummed, musing on if she could lift him, “Well,” She clapped her hands and grinned, “there’s always a first for everything.”

♢} ---

"I - really?"  Fred's eyebrows rose, showing his temporary surprise at the statement.  He relaxed a moment later, realizing that it made sense.  It was a palace made for winged visitors, and wings were one thing he didn't have.

The prince nodded, a smile coming across his face to match hers.  "Yes, I suppose you're right."  His shoulders shake with a chuckle that's somewhere between embarrassed and amused.  "I apologize for making things inconvenient for you."
